- Independent sneaker brand, Kool Kiy has started the process to countersue Nike to prove they have not infringed on any trademarks from the Air Jordan1. What are your thoughts on this ongoing battle between the two brands?
Man, I've got over 40 pairs of shoes and not once did I ever think to myself "damn, I need a pair of kiys" lol

There's no universe where Nike losses. This is just stalling.
Even the font of KIY logo IS the NIKE font.
You have to ask yourself would KIY become popular without resembling Nike's? I don't think so.

I’m over Nike trying to eliminate competition like the brand didn’t outright steal from adidas and especially ASICS to establish themselves. The Cortez is an amalgamation of two ASICS shoes and the name is inspired by adidas after adidas threatened them about use of Aztec (adidas already had Aztec Gold).

@@dakotamcgee401 I own ZERO pairs of Js or Nike. My rotation is 90% adidas retros. I also rock Clarks, Karhu, New Balance, and Saucony - and I’m not in the UK. KITH isn’t in the UK, and he’s signed to Clarks and just did the Samba 8th St.
