I still think Men's Basketball finds a way to sneak into the tournament IF they stay engaged. Surely a quick exit awaits but that was a solid W last night. I’m confused on why Eric thinks Awaka is better than Vessar. There is no clear difference as far as production. Awaka hasn’t been rebounding against the better comp like we hoped.
@ going to into the season, I think Awaka had decent expectations as to Vessar having none. With that being said Vessar has been a surprise to produce anything. That has to be deserving of some quality minutes similar to Awakas. Would you ever like to see them on the court together ?
It seems like the three playmakers are playing for an NBA basketball contract and pushing individual efforts instead of team efforts. All of this lies on the coaching staff. There is no happiness on the faces of these guys it's like someone pissed in their coffee get involved. Tommy is getting too far in the season to not knowing who the best five are.
HONEST QUESTION.... have we taken more than 5 charges this entire year on defense?!?!? Seriously I can think of maybe 1-2... And that's pretty pathetic to me. And also as far as Eric on tommys rotations. I totally agree. Ado and conrad are together is nuts. And not playing bryant... A nba talent... More is nuts. And even subbing bryant after he makes big plays. Like last night his big dunk... Then boom min later pulled and doesn't play again for like 10mins.... And same with awaka... Yet ado is out there trying to help on d but ends up leaving his man wide open for easy threes... Its odd
Bryant should start over trey all day. Hes like 6'8+ and can do much more than trey could ever dream. So why trey gets double the mins makes zero sense to me. Why yayyyy dont ask tommy these questions is nuts to me. Ask him the hard questions!!! Maybe then he will realize
I would give Loyd a mulligan for this season if he had produced in the tournament the last three years but he didn't. They underperformed or choked. So this year I am really having my doubts.

This was by far one of your worst podcasts. I listen regularly and can agree with most things but today was an Eric complaining segment. Tommy Lloyd is a great coach and needs to be given some leeway. Comparing Miller's first 6 years to Tommy's first 4 is unfair as Miller was an established coach. Compare Miller's first four (93-39, missed postseason, round of 64, round of 32, elite eight) with Tommy's first four (93-25*, two sweet 16s, round of 64 and pending). The asterisk means this season is not over, and Tommy will get more wins. First years at Arizona cannot be compared equally if the coaches are at two different stages in their careers. Lute Olsen's first four years as a head coach included a 73-35 record with no post-season appearances.

Defensively, though he's a good 4+ inches shorter, I think Awaka is more aggressive and therefore would play him more than Veesar.
