Our Bigfoot B19 Camper gets a Dometic Toilet upgrade & How we Polish Gelcoat from Oxidized to Shiny!

(EP07) Part of our restoration series. Our old water heater was in bad shape and we decided to get a tankless water heater. This episode we show how we retrofitted a Dometic 311 Ceramic toilet into our wet bath and give the gelcoat a buffing to add in our new exterior accessories. Nice work! I buffed out my bigfoot last year. It was a bit of work but definitely worth the effort. I went over top of it with some collinites 845 and it gave it a nice deep protected glossy finish. Cheers from BC.

Thanks. Have you tired Meguiar's M6332 Flagship Premium Marine Wax by chance? I heard of Collinites 845 and thinking about which one to try first.

Been following your saga, I'm currently doing the same thing with an '84 B17...
My advice to you, is go to a bolt supply house, get a full assortment of stainless steel screws, most of mine have been 1 of 4 sizes. Change em out as you go, you'll thank yourself later...

This is great advice! We have been changing them out as we go with square drive stainless steel screws of the same thread. We also have them of different sizes for the various places. 🙂
