Danny your videos are top tier and always helpful. I’ll check this new gadget out.
It’s at a good price point and does quite a bit, it’s also easy to navigate
You can do that with the first version.
What the first version lacks is a good interface. For example, it can only select up to 200 data PIDs, so if there's 210 for the vehicle then you choose "auto select all PIDs" it fails. Also, you can't scroll through PIDs to select the ones you want as it annoyingly pages the display of the PIDs.
And Launch has terrible support.
Good to know, thanks for sharing. I’ve never needed scan tool support.

Bought one of these about 7 months ago… it’s been amazing. I have the 1.0 version, the 2.0 version doesn’t seem to have a larger screen. I’d love to see something like the ability to lock these things like a smartphone. And to have FindMy integration if I forget it somewhere.
The big difference between the two is the speed and I find it’s easier to read and navigate as far a the software it the same.
Just added onto my amazon shopping cart
Hi Danny, how does this compare to the foxwell scanners? I have a 2012 CRV I planned on cleaning the throttle body but afraid to mess up the idle and I currently do not have a bidirectional scanner to do a relearn. Thanks for your help!
Not sure how it compares to other Foxwell, sorry
Its a regular scan tool. The only thing different about this one is they charge you for each brand individually. The lists that he said was the data stream, isn't the data stream. The data stream is live OBD2 information that contains all relative powertrain data when the key is on, or the car is running. All scan tools have this feature, even the cheap ones. The lists in the video are called parameter identifiers. Any good entry to mid level scan tool is able to read them.
A scan tool can't tell you what's wrong with your car. Whatever information it gives you is a starting point. Your real diag begins when you put the scan tool down.
Great information, a scan tool is usually my 1st step when diagnosing an engine light or drivability problems, and actually anything else.
I got the Toyota version. Great scanner.
@@ElectroAtletico I think so also, for the price point it’s awesome
