I’m really sorry to hear about your negative experience with the car rental; unfortunately, they often try to take advantage of everyone, both locals and tourists. The traffic in Palermo is absolutely CRAZY! I live in a big city and drive regularly, but the traffic there is on a whole other level-no one seems to follow the rules. So, hats off to you for handling it! Sicilians are generally the friendliest and most welcoming Italians. I hope you got to experience that and enjoyed some of our delicious food 😋 Come back to Italy soon!

I'll give you a tip: when renting a car in italy, put a sheet of paper on the back of the car with a big "P" drew on it. in italy it symbolizes that the driver just got their license, so people around you will be more careful and patient😜

Luckily not all the Italians drive like crazy! 😊 but definetely in the South this is the style.... in Italy there are many Regions and tiramisù is more a specialty of the North ones.
