💀 Hey Skeleton Crew! Let us know which song has the most , which song has the most , and drop the time code of your favorite licks! Oh, and say hi to if you see him ;)
Thank you! I received one from Amazon a couple weeks ago and it’s in the process of being set up by a terrific luthier in Raleigh, NC. I’ve listened to many UA-cam videos on the Classic Vibe Jazz V and your video is the most satisfying, by far. Blessings 😊
That sound is amazing 😍
Awesome demo, jayme. 😎🤘🏻🎸 squire makes nice sounding basses and I do dig their jazz basses. Classic, versatile, and great for a lot of genres. Including metal.
love my 4 string.
I have this bass. Playability and fit & finish are easily equal to my 93’ MIM J. Nice to see Squire stepping up their game. The only issue I really have is the bridge needs to be slightly farther back. On mine, at least, the B string saddle maxes out before it can intonate. It’s really close but off enough to be irritating. But at least that is something easily correctable.
I have a CV bass , and dig it but unfortunately doesn’t get gigged much because of the weight , thing is a boat anchor! How’s the weight on these newer models?
@@LosbassWell I imagine if I could hang my car off my shoulder it would feel basically the same as the bass. It’s currently the only 5 I have so it gets played pretty much every gig. It’s heavy enough that I’ll switch to the backup 4 if I get a long enough run of songs where I don’t need the B string.
@@Boethius4748 Thanks for the feedback! , mine is a 4 stringer! Can’t imagine what the 5 weighs …. Yikes!
I have the same model but with four string and it’s also on the heavy side… Soft maple body used on natural finishes makes it pretty heavy compared to poplar used on color and sunburst finishes :-/
@@r3b0rn80 mine is black so I feel your pain!
The CV series basses are still pretty solid. I still have my 60's P-bass and it dose a fine job.🙂👍🏾
Thank you for the video, but how can you demo a 70' jazz bass without slap? Also, given that this is a 5er, a word about balance and neck dive would have been helpful.
Hi Jamie I would like to know if you find this bass to be too heavy. I bought one in April 2024 didn't really notice it til I started practicing standing up. That's the only con I have with the instrument. I have several basses so I didn't start playing it right away and it's too late to return the loss on a trade in is too much.
Sounds fantastic 🔥🔥👌🏽
It’s a nice bass for the price. A bit heavy but that’s fender/squire. I demo it at Sam Ash a few months ago and I liked it.
nice bass Jayme
Hi!
Sterling Music Man Stingray 4 HH vs Squier Jazz Bass Classic Vibe 70´???
How would you rate the pickups ?
Would they be worth replacing with Seymour Duncans, or equivalent?
one thing im wrondering , is it as heavy on the shoulders as my vintage modified Squire 5 string jazz? , my one weighs a fucking ton lol
You must have the all-natural finish. It’s like wearing an Olympic plate around your neck.
How is it doing as a passive bass having a the low B? always wondered that a 5 string HAS to be active!
I want!!!!!
Phil Jones Bass ...fogetta bout it
