Wow, this is what I've been looking for! I've gone through the whole process and decided to replace some of the darker shades for other branding colors we use. However, my new theme doesn't reflect the new colors. My accent color appears in the theme, but it doesn't replace the darker shade within the text font colors. Are we not able to swap out more than one?

Thanks Dan for the sharing! Can i like custom colour for specific page, means different page different colour and not applied it as a theme to the whole sharepoint.

Great guide... What about hubsite navigation backgrounds?

Thanks for sharing these usefull tips. Do you have any content showing how we can apply 100% width to a sharepoint page? When I share lists in my pages is almost impossible not to have a horizontal navigation...

Hey Rafaa, hope all is well. No way to achieve the full width for the list web part on a standard site page. I'm sure there are custom ways to achieve this through a bit of development persuasion but I'm not smart enough to figure that one out! Sorry I can't be of more help here

After the updates Microsoft made in June - August 2024 I'm having an issue. My background is Dark Blue (company colors) with white font. When I use my Copy To or Move To options, the new window comes up with a white background with white font. I have no idea why this is happening now (just started this month). Any recommendations?

I have got the exact same scenario, I have tried to open a ticket with MS but they were useless...

Wish you would go into more detail about the colour slots.
Also When I copied the code I had two slots disabled. Is that normal?

Which slots were disabled? Maybe I can help

    Great video.
I'm the Admin of my site but my company has deleted all themes and left only one so whiteish that i need to wear sunglasses when I browse my site.
Am I still able to override and add a custom team to my site anyway?

Well that was nice of them! ;-) You would need to be a SharePoint admin to make a new custom theme available to use. Then, once that's in place, and as long as your site is not associated with a parent hub site... you should be good to go. Otherwise... you might have to expense a nice new pair of sunglasses :-D Sorry I can't be of more help here. Hope it works out

Hi! I tried adding the accent, but once my theme is in sharepoint it doesnt show the "customize" option.

Hi Laura, Custom theme themes that you create don't show the customize option. Only the out of the box themes have that option. When we add the "Accent" colour to the palette, that will be the theme accent colour. Hope this helps
