I know it’s boring to see the merc get pole and win most of the races but this car is an engineering masterpiece
true its fun to watch what is probably the fastest car of all time
A little masterpiece of heaven you could say
The fastest ever car around a race track. Not the fastest ever car though
all f1 cars are engineering masterpiece. only that mercedes are extraterrestrial
It's boring the others teams try to sabotage mercedes 😁😁😁
Great team great cars great drivers

4 brutal track limits violations
@@danielaraujo498 Track limits were diferent back in 2020
Me too. It gets better with time. The weekend Mugello hosted F1. A legendary driver mastering a legendary circuit, and F1 will probably never return here.
Just look at the steering wheel and listen to the engine. almost zero corrections in the corners. What a Masterpiece we were able to witness.

I'm surprised the tyres didn't explode in the fast corners.. unbelievable It's cartoonishly fast that mercedes.
That’s the word
Perfect way to describe it
Any F1 car is.

Common misconception.
Pilots pull positive and negative G. Rarely do they perform any sorta of serious lateral G. During basic fighter maneuvers (BFM), the fighter pilots will have to crank their neck to up or to look behind them while pulling 9+ positive G.
Race Car drivers, especially F1 drivers, pull significantly more lateral G.
Not taking away anything from Lewis, this car have insane ammount of grip. The way he drives through these fast corners flat out without any under or over steer is just wow.
You have to control it that way. Any extra throttle or a little extra steer can spin it out.
@@rekanlanksbd my guy, what does flat out mean lmfao

I come back to this every now and then to just be in awe of the grip levels the w11 had. An unreal feat of engineering
Same here, sometimes it just pops into my mind
Mostly end up here after W11 on rails at Spa. This car + driver combo is the best to date. Or maybe 2nd only to Alonso + Renault.
Kinda depressing how much slower the 2022 cars are in comparison
What i realized is that no one cares about track limits back then. Just look at the last corner
@@Tommmmmmmmmmmm yep, wish they stop changing regs every couple of years especially when the field starts closing up

Why no telemetry ever??
Its a secret
go on the "f1gameplay" channel, there you can see some laps with telemetry
There was telemetry on the f1 IG page lol
Maybe because its exclusive to F1 TV, can imagine they think they'd be doing their subscribers a disservice by giving the public features that they are paying for, only explanation
And wrong syn again.
This is one hell of a track.
My definete favoritte track! 2020 is awsome!
For qualy onboards maybe but I doubt something will even happen on track during the race. I hope I'm wrong ofc.
Mugello is just epic. Imo the most technical circuit in the world alongside Suzuka
Really hope they find a way to keep it on the calendar.
Although it is in the interest of everybody to race in different places, it is still unfortunate that tracks like Baku, Sochi and Mexico City take out tracks like this (or Istanbul, Nurburgring on alternate years...) from the calendar.
the way these guys get to know a track so fast is the thing that impresses me most

Charles-Antoine Martel-Roy Latifi is still ahead in the championship standings though
Pace isn't everything, for the second year in a row Russel has outpaced his teammate in every single moment except for the few that count

Astonishing !
Lewis's genius is exactly the right mix of certainty, and risk. Right on the edge of disaster, but not reckless. Intentional.
Logic and art in perfect symmetry.
Got you waxing lyrical
Whoever designed that transmission is a freaking genius, an absolute genius!!!!
And the aero, it's the aerodynamics that's keeping that car glued to the track at them high speeds
Guys there were no track limits in 2020. They only became relevant in 2022. Look how Lewis is on the edge on the last turn, that's what we want to see as a fans of the sport. Why you think Verstappen is constantly complaining about track limits taking the joy of driving
It's amazing to be a spectator and watchn this guy dominate the sport. He can flat out drive. Me bn a huge nascar fan I can understand people are hating in him for doin so good. Schumacher was the man in F1 and still a hero , but watch Hamilton break every record and then some. Good luck bro , it's great to watch you drive !!
Yes my brooo ! A masterpiece from Hamilton !
yea people hate him and say that the sport has changed since mercedes dominated every track, but that's what ya get when you're doing so good like ferrari in the early 2000s with schumacher
Its the predictability that sucks. Guy is a legend and incredibly fast.
The Mercedes team and there drivers are on top of every detail and work together’ what’s amazing to me as a mechanic is how his clutch comes in so smooth then this track flows and offers a nice bit of camber . Nice job
@@flopre9213 agree. I've only been seriously watchn f1 for less than year , and even I can tell you how it ends from p1-p20. Sucks they only race once a year in USA. Gotta suck it up and get there one day soon to watch them live
What amazes me is how Mercedes built a car that is fast on ANY circuit. Like, 2019 Ferrari or Renault are fast on straights, fast circuits like Monza or Montreal, Red Bull are good at tricky bumpy tracks, and Mercedes be flexing on everyone in any situation
Its awesome that such a machine is possible. Just sucks that no other team is capable of making something even close in terms of interesting racing. Mercedes is still legendary regardless

The last corner is insane. At 1:12 he can't see the straight but floors the throttle while turning believing the car will make it to the straight. Wow!!

This track is awesome. I raced on it before on the MotoGp games and i would love to have this track permanently in the F1 calendar.
Problem is with "good" tracks like these, the visual appeal of the pole lap ends up being the most interesting part of the weekend. Interesting corners tend to have a negative correlation to overtaking opportunities.
Just watched the f2 race, lots of overtaking. I know f1 is a different beast but I think we might be surprised, let’s see tomorrow.
Tracks like Mugello are basically the Uber Rares of F1. Flashy as hell and nice to look at, but ultimately dont showcase many amazing strategies or quick thinking by the drivers. However, throw in a safety car and we may have an interesting race yet...
