This all is ridiculous. I can’t believe insurance companies could wreck this.
How about tv coverage like the TT live pass did. I would pay.
Hope this is just a speed bump and things get sorted
All of the above. There is no free lunch... pay to view but keep it reasonable or no one will come (i.e. $20/ adult). Sponsors also have a part to play, plaster the place with their names and everyone wins. No race, no one wins.
Sad to hear. I've always contributed in some way either purchasing memorabilia programmes etc. Was looking forward to seeing them
Big corporations crushing what we have as humans.
Come on Bennetts, step in and show the other insurance companys how to do it without the excess. Either that, or the riders sign a waiver. This has destroyed so many careers and employment. Absoloutely gutted. The IOMTT will be next, just a matter of time.
I'd Personally & Eagerly would pay $100 buck's plus, just to view the content I take in Yearlong to see such Talented Riders & Diverse Tracks as was previously.....!
Check out our follow up on the crowdfunder that's been setup to keep the races going: ua-cam.com/video/cN3UZWfdspU/v-deo.html
Yes spectators should have to pay to watch races.
Worst news in years.. I feel so sad. It seems that everything fun is being forbidden or pushed out of the OK zone.. And all that's left is to obey or be jailed..
you will own nothing and you will eat the bugs.
Arrest the insurers, who are just milking it big time.
I just don't get it how often has a race competitor sued the organisers, and how often has a spectator claimed from the insurance.
Surely you'd just sign a waiver
gutting but hope it can get sorted I would pay to watch and I don't think anyone who goes to spectate would begrudge paying to attend and what about the bike manufacturers paying for the free and best advertising ever. man and machine on the roads we ride on going full on and the insurances are they right to hike their prices like that it needs to be governed by somebody the riders always sign a cert at the start we always laughed on signing ya life away I thought .so who is hitting the insurance companies every year to warrant such treatment anyway I've had my 2 bobs worth of a rant gutted
old news update needed
Phillip macallan would charge you for browsing around his shop if he could
Aunty wainwright wouldn't have a look it with that boi around.
About time, get a track and make your money there, not on public roads!
It's short track racing and trials aswell
