Brother I highly appreciate the kind words. Such an absolute blessing to be a part of such great company. What a great stockman for the stamped brother. Really dig that redish wood. I also bought me a new stockman today as well. A case of course 😂 One ive been wanting for a while. Ment to shoot a video on it but never got the time. Next Saturday though. God bless brother and have a great night. 👍👍👊🤝
Haha. You live up to your name. 😁 Can't wait to see it. If you've been waiting on it, I bet it's a dandy! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
The Buck 371 is a good knife in general. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
I like the pattern and the knife in general. The spring strength is the only thing that really gives me pause. Just a personal preference. I like a strong spring. Be well.
Thanks for sharing! See you around!
Thanks for having a look. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Hey Todd, that's a pretty good knife for the money and very light use and or a light weight summer edc!!
I have the same knife and I would say it's about the same as yours.
Really great tag response brother 👍 I great appreciate your support and participation!!!!
Thanks, Terry. As I said, I hate to speak bad of Buck. Maybe I just got a one-off. The low tension, particularly on the main blade, is just not at my comfort level.
I don't get a chance to pick up a stockman often but, when I do, it's always saved for Saturday! Have a great day!
Some great channels, and a very nice stockman. I like the redish tint to it.
Yes, it is a color with depth to it. And two very fine gentlemen. Have a great day!
Nice review. It'll make a nice user for sure. Love the color of the wood!
Thanks, brother. The wood is definitely a highlight of the knife. Great depth in the right light. Thanks for having a look.
Nice knife brother!!!!! I like that wood on the covers stay well over there 😊
It is a pretty wood. Found it listed, after the upload, as "Redwood". Take care and have a great day!
Yessir you can use my name (Jason), and thank you so much for the shoutout Todd! Finally you got the stickers, still can't believe that I forgot to put proper postage for Canada lol. Nice looking knife brother, thanks for sharing today. Have a great Sunday, and God bless.
You're welcome, brother. It's definitely a good looking knife. Just wish the springs were a little stronger. I actually had to remind a postal worker that a letter I was sending out was for the US. She initially didn't put enough postage on it, so don't fret about not realizing it. Have yourself a great Sunday!
Travis has a great channel, seems like a awesome gentleman. So many channels, I wish I could visit them all, I just love supporting all you guys. HT just sent my wife a incredible video wishing her a happy birthday tomorrow. It put a huge smile on her face, Miss Abby was also in the video, it was so nice of him. At least they sharpened this one, unlike the 110 ya sent me a picture of.😂 That was wild, I think I’ll pass that along to Harold so he can see that picture.😂 Great video Todd, Thanks for sharing sir,
Thanks, Dave. Wish I sounded more upbeat in the video. Guess I was just down with the overall experience. Wish your wife a happy birthday for me. I won't do a video. I can't follow an act, like Abby. 😅 Have a great evening.
@@Pocket_EDC Kinda hard to get excited over a knife when the factory can’t even put a Edge on it.😂 I probably would have bought that knife, just to see if Buck would have fixed it with their forever warranty.😂 Thanks for the Happy Birthday, no matter how you felt it was still a great video.👍🇨🇦
I almost picked that one up when I grabbed the canoe, not a whole lot of choice up here!
That's the sad part. You also never know. Companies may not always use the top quality builds for export. I almost picked up a 122 slim the same trip, until I looked at the blade grind. Looked like the guy sneezed while he had it on the grinder. Have a great day!
Nice review. Decent knife. I have a Buck Trapper 382 I got at Wally World on clearance. It is about the same fit, finish and sharpening.
Thanks, brother. I wasn't sure, until after the video, if it was US or Chinese made. Turns out, China. That kind of surprised me. Thanks for sharing your experience. Have a great day!
I believe the Bucks with the hammer and anvil shield are US made.
Good to know. Thank you.
Had no problem with the China made Bucks. Keep a 10 carry rotation for less ware. If it’s gonna be a hard use day I carry a hard use knife.
Good to know. Thanks for the input. As I said, it's possible that I just got a bad run or an one-off. Have a great day!
I have a couple of 371s of about the same vintage as yours, and they have served me well. Maybe I got lucky and got a couple built by exceptional craftsman, whereas yours were built on Monday nightshift by idiots. Mine hold an edge well, and have good build quality. So, I say you speak blasphemy against the 371, brother😉😆
😂😅 I'm glad to hear that. As I said, I hate to have negatives to say about Buck. It could be many things. I know of some companies switching Chinese production facilities from year to year as well. That can explain inconsistencies n build quality. Have a great day!
