I wanted to get the video out sooner but it turned out to be a lot more work than I expected. But at least the computer came out to be nice in the end.

5:14 Hallo, the A1000 was made by Sanyo, in Japan, instead of the usual Commodore factories in Philippines. It was a decision (at that time, Commodore A1000's project manager was Adam Chowaniec), made to get an higher build quality, and they succeded indeed!
21:18 my suggestion is to give those bad floppies a try, as a gently cleaning by using IPA and some soft qtips worked 100% for me! Be generous with IPA and gently with the qtip!

The components are high quality and the fact that the system is still functional after 39 year is testiment to the passion that went into building the machine. I doubt I will get the same service life from my a4000cr that I will feature in an upcomming video.

Apple totally ripped the case design off for the Centris 610

I like the pizza box design. The The keyboard doesn't stow away but the Centris 610 is a nice looking machine!
