I found out about this from one of my favorite comedy skits. It's a Chris Rock parody called "N-word, Please." From the comments there, I found out it originated from this😆

What might've made tha last one funnier is if when the senior officer walked up and asked what it was and the sarge answers then the senior officer responds,"I told you not to call me that in front of the private(s)"|
It's a trap, or it used to be. The few times I was asked what did I do today after school and this wasn't my answer... XD. I would get grounded. I grounded when caught lying, I got grounded worse for telling the truth.
