Prague 🇨🇿 - Attractions, monuments, interesting places in the capital of the Czech Republic

Prague - the capital, which is often visited by Poles. It is certainly a famous city with many interesting and very charming monuments. Everyone certainly knows the Old Town Square in Prague and Charles Bridge. However, there are definitely more different attractions in the capital of the Czech Republic, which I will try to prove in this video.
The rapid development of Prague took place in the Middle Ages, hence the layout of the city is quite characteristic of that period. It must be admitted, however, that we will find monuments here that probably represent most of the existing architectural styles (including such architectural rarities as e.g. cubism - the House of the Black Madonna). The style that made the city famous around the world is Art Nouveau.
Interesting facts about Prague:
1. If the legend is to be believed, the history of Prague began on a rocky escarpment in the seat of King Krok, called Vyšehrad, or High Castle.
2. The first inhabitants on the Vltava River were Celtic tribes who settled there around 500 BC.
3. The city developed particularly during the reign of Charles IV.
4. After the founding of the New Town in 1348, Prague became the largest city in Europe north of the Alps.
5. Today's Prague was established in 1784 by the merger of five independent but interconnected units: the Old Town, the New Town, Josefov, Lesser Town and Prague.
6. The historic city center has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1992.
7. Prague is a city with the rights of a country.
8. There are over 20 museums and 100 galleries in the city.
9. One of the most visited tourist attractions in the city is the Charles Bridge. It is the oldest preserved stone bridge in the world with this span.
10. On Złota Uliczka, in the house at number 22, in 1917 Franz Kafka wrote his works.
