Very nice, the sounds remind me a lot to my childhood as well! It would be pretty amazing to have the waveforms available as a sample pack to get their character into other synths without having this exotic setup though. However, you can probably emulate it by adding bit reduction to standard wave forms.

About a year or more ago, i was sooo close to buying an adrino boy from catskull but just couldnt justify the price at the time. So its kinda sad that they dont make them anymore now that i can afford it, it seemed like a cool brand to support.
(not that i actually need it, got more gear then i could ever need)

I'm thankful I was able to get everything from Catskull Electronics before they closed shop, but I always meant to buy another Arduinoboy Pro Kit!! Now, I really regret it!! hahaha 😆 Maybe one day I'll look into making another myself though! 🤘🐀

Our kids had a purple GB, a pink GB Advance, and a DS. They left them all behind when they moved out. Maybe I should make "music" with them instead of giving them to Goodwill.

And I bought myself a midiboy months (years?) ago, but still need to put it together. But I'm a 'bit' daunted by the soldering... (because I don't have a clue how to do that! >_< )
soldering is not so bad, tons of good tutorials out there. keep the iron clean, use flux, and always clean up

@@JorbLovesGear Yes, and it sounds....more or less the same. The prosound mod was all the rage in the mid 2000s but most of the chiptune artists didn't even do it. If the point is to sound nostalgic then go with what people heard when they played their Gameboys.
