This guy is the reason I like Chiefs though I wanted my Bengals to be in superbowl. Refs robbed us but I support this man and their coach Reid. Both are genuine great guys!

I remember when he was drafted, hearing from Texas Tech fans how impressed we would be with not only his athleticism but also his attitude and persona. He is the definition of a leader and a class act. He knows exactly what to say to the media, to fans, to his fellow players, and his coaches. There are no skeletons in his closet and I couldn't be happier that he's the QB for my team.

My family and I went on a tour of Arrowhead Stadium a few months ago and we ran into a very pregnant Brittany as we were getting off the elevators. She was surprised to see us (there were about 45 of us there for a school tour) and yet she was extremely sweet and kind. I really became an actual fan of this guy this year. Not that I was ever a hater or anything, but I really gained more and more respect for him this season. He has continued to play at such a high level and defeated the other great young QBs on the biggest stages and won the MVP. Now he's got 2 rings and is on his way to more in my opinion. He also seems like a genuine good person too. Congrats to the Chiefs from a Giants fan!

Eagles are the sharpest team in the NFC, just stellar on both sides of the ball. They are at the least playoff bound for many years out, giving them several chances for another SB. Great head coach, very good QB, great D line, 2 awesome receivers, an improving TE etc. A very fun team to watch.

I wonder if that's true. Howie signed a lot of one year rentals. Plus some guys are over the hill. No way are they bringing back Sanders. And they are probably losing coaches. I'm not saying they can't, especially since the NFC is so weak, and Dak is so bad. But the record is deceiving. I never thought they were as good as they looked. I did think, man for man, they had a better roster than the Chiefs. I also knew that teams often have issues in their first SB. I thought the game would be close, because I thought the Chiefs had the better coach and QB, and had played against tougher competition. Once Hurts gets paid, Howie is going to have to be a magician. Hurts was very good this year, but Howie was the MVP.

@@TJinoue I tend to agree. Gonna be really difficult. I read there are only three QBs who won 2 SBs and 2 MVPs before the age of 27: Montana, Brady, and Mahomes.
Hurts is 2-2 in the playoffs. He lost to Brady and Mahomes. If Tampa played defense, Brady probably would have beaten the Rams last year. Who did Hurts beat? Daniel Jones and nobody. I'm not saying Hurts didn't improve greatly or have a good season. Yet again, who did he beat during the regular season. Not one good team. Or one good QB.
I'm reacting to two things. First, I'm skeptical that QBs who play like Hurts can beat good teams. Especially when they make big bucks. But second, the hype in Philly is crazy. Hurts is already in the Hall of Fame. Having beaten nobody. Worse, today they're a bunch of sore losers.

Can't imagine watching the superbowl at a bar anymore. Watched it the first time the Chiefs won at the local bar and I couldn't hear ANYTHING because everyone was yelling, I know what the score was and the fact that the Chiefs won but I literally had to re-watch the game because I couldn't fully see the TV (bad vision) and I couldn't hear a thing.

Mahomes made a great point in saying that we had a lot of tight games that the fans certainly didn’t enjoy just cause of the stress but the Chiefs were conditioned all throughout the season for this moment. So many close games that we won got us ready for the moment of being tied 35-35 in the final minutes of the 4th. So proud of everyone on that team for the work they put in this season.
Obviously when I say “us” I mean everyone in the chiefs organization and nothing to do with me, but I watch every single game and every single play and carry far too much self induced stress and anxiety when something doesn’t go the Chiefs way. And my household can attest to all the hours Ive spent yelling at the tv. So in a small way, it feels like I’m a part of the team.

No, that is really stupid. The biggest problem is there are too many uneducated football fans (like you) and TV commentators speaking out that did no research on that play.
Referee Carl Cheffers told pool reporter Lindsay Jones afterwards that there was “no debate” whether or not there was a penalty.
“The receiver went to the inside, and he was attempting to release to the outside,” Cheffers said. “The defender grabbed the jersey with his right hand and restricted him from releasing to the outside. So, therefore, we called defensive holding.”
So it WASN'T the innocent left hand on Schuster's back as the moronic commentator on TV stated and the Philly's fans desperately cling to-it was a clearly defined hold. Should the officials have not called holding when holding happened just because it gave KC the advantage?
Bradberry, who is a stand-up guy has admitted that he committed the foul, pulling Smith-Schuster’s jersey. Not the shirt under the jersey, which we often see pull away from the player’s waist, but the actual game jersey. Bradberry pulled the game jersey that clings tightly to the player’s torso.
That's why they called the penalty.
