And if they had a couple of moments that is good, but it doesn’t take away from the rest of the video. No, people with albinism can’t tan. It’s painful for them to stay in the sun for extended periods of time because of how sensitive their skin is. It just burns.
Lily Raimey yea tht makes sense. I tried tanning over a year ago and got sunburnt really bad and had damaged, flaking skin for over a month 😖 it was very painful.

As a very pale ginger, in my experience tanning is impossible. I know being a ginger and being albino are a little different but we both share a gene that keeps us from producing melanin. The darkest I ever get is when I am sun burnt but it’s only bc the shade of red is darker than my skin. Also we have very increased risk of skin cancer.
🙄 bruh stop. That's not the same as albinism. As a ginger, you were gonna be pale faced and sun deprived anyway. It's nowhere near the difficulty of being black and having to avoid the sun. Don't compare yourself to us. Ever again.
