She deserves a second chance. She did the heist/cure the relic quest in essence that V always dreamed of successfully. It's a bitter truth, but it's the right thing to do by letting her go. V deserves to live, Songbird actually pulled it off without being forgotten or put in a Coma.
@@greg0050 Actually siding with So Mi is objectively the most selfish ending, as she is fully willing to endanger and put the lives of civilians on the line for her desire to be free. She's a cornered animal, and while she does deserve freedom and it's cool to be involved in a terrorist attack on an airport, it's not morally just (if you're roleplaying your V as somebody who cares about other's lives). She is not entitled to sacrifice innocent people for her ambitions.
@@arkstuff56 Nobody was endangered by V and So Mi though? The target was the shuttle, it's exactly the same as storming Arasaka tower.
@@greg0050 In the stadium where she says she will make all the turrets hostile, V asks "how many innocents would die?" And Songbird replies "they will die so we can live". The point is that she is disregarding human life as expendable and she feels entitled to their sacrifice so she can be free.
That is on her and a conscious decision she chose to make. Even going back to the airport heist, Arasaka tower is very different as it doesn't involve the collateral damage of civilians who arent involved, you simply siege the tower and kill anyone who is aggressive towards you.
@@arkstuff56 Huh, is that missable with stealth? I don't remember that line. That is genuinely horrible.
