I’ve only had my Bass VI for 3 weeks, but this still blew my mind! No telling if I would have ever learned this. Thanks, man!

holy shit, I just got mine my a few weeks ago. I thought that the switch had a set shelf or slope for the bass cut off. Had no idea that I can control it with the tone. I thought I was able to "hear" it a little bit. Witch I still think a can. But not at much when I roll the tone down.

There is no secret. This bass is not wired correctly or like the original.
The tone control can only knock off highs. There should be a definite cut in frequency/output regardless of the tone knob. Look at any other video about a bass vi.

That's a pretty interesting option! Did You ever tried to play on the bridge pick up while engaging the strangle switch? I would like to know if You could get the same sound as the person in the linked video! Additionally he talks about turning up treble and cutting bass on the amp at the same time! Please let me know! It's at 7:30 min in the video!

The video link does not really work for some reason... 🤷 It's on Guitar Center with Mason Stoops and the Fender Bass VI!
