This is engineering structural design failure. The designer should be punished. He must know the intensity of the rain and storms in next 100 years and should design even for severe earthquakes while designing the structure.

We need to maintain pillars , paint regularly so corrosion won’t happen , clear the drains so water logging won’t happen . We don’t do maintenance in India and that’s why we suffer . Atleast from now on they will start doing maintenance in airports
