It was a mix of both. Popcsp had a few when the game was published, but then ea stepped in and added more
I mean YEAH obviously It's a *free* game, what do you espect? Plus you don't need the premium plants to beat the game enyway so It's not p2w like most people thinks it is ¬_¬

I recently got PvZ Gw2 and Gw1 on pc and I had a blast playing these game since I used to watch gameplay on these games on UA-cam and i've always wanted to try them.
Heck yeah! They're both such great games :)
9:40 the og 2009 version of pvz has a much bigger modding scene compared to the goty one(havnt looked into why but im pretty sure its techinical reasons)

To clarify; the mtx was *Originaly* about fun lil plants that you can buy with money although you didn't really needed them to beat the Adventure mode unless you have serious skill issue, plus It's a free game for crying out loud how the heck are they able to make money enyway?
Pvz 1 cost 5 bucks, make 2 cost that an I'd say that's a nice resolution
@@Tomakins true, but because pvz2 was free it allowed to much more players and even non pvz players for that matter. So i'd say is a good business strategy.

Okay, so I'm really into pvz, so I just wanted to talk about some things
1:59 There are only 20 or so plants you have to buy, the rest you get from playing the game, this was not the "downfall of pvz"
3:34 PvZ3 is a VERY bad game and is barely a pvz game
5:50 Laura Shigahara only made a few tracks for pvz2 and hasn't worked on any since
8:18 This is a mod
13:49 BFN is nothing like gw2 and is basically just Overwatch with gw characters, that means EVERY CHARACTER FROM GW1 AND 2 WERE REMOVED other than the base characters, so uh, not very great game
15:27 Wolfy has infact done a crazy amount of content he has made hundreds of videos on gw2 and bfn with a few gw1 videos since 2015
Honestly, this video seems a little underresearched but I appreciate the effort and I'm excited for the next part
1- Yeah I understand that is only 20 or so and I really don't think it was a downfall by any means but certainly not a good thing
2- PvZ3 I didn't get to actually play myself until way after the recording was done and yes I completely agree, the no selecting plants alone is terrible

4- Yeah that's just all my fault, I thought it was maybe an in game event I missed out on a while back but yeah just a mod, my bad
5- I AGREE I got to play it recently and... ugh it's just disappointing
6- Yes my bad, when looking through his playlists at the time of making the script I don't know if it was just a weird thumbnail or my eyes not picking it up but I just didn't see that he did any garden warfare, my bad (Looking through the playlists now and yeah I just came across garden warfare content at the very bottom, my bad)
Very fair criticism, I'm excited to see what you think of the next video! and with part 2 being more niche things I'm sure it'll be easier to research on
