So I spent a bit of money on Fashion Nova clothing and I have to say I was impressed but unimpressed at the same time. A few things: I didn't think the material would be as stretchy as it was, they fit nice on the waist, the colours of the jeans on the website might not necessarily be what you get in real life. MartaValentin3 some do but not all. Yes the Kardashian’s do but that thanks to surgery and waist training. Not EVERYONE has that particular shape. Some women don’t have curves at all.
Hey girl! Ex-stylist here at a high end fashion boutique wanted to give you some advice! Get the size that fits you! Even if it might be a little bigger. It kind of seems like you want to get into the next size smaller and telling yourself you could probably go a few sizes down but you shouldn't feel constricted in your clothes! I know it's nice to think you're a size 3 or whatever but if your clothes aren't comfortable... then it probably doesn't look good either! A lot of the jeans you tried on were too tight. Try getting bigger sizes and out of the mindset of being able to fit into a size 0, 1, 2, 3, w.e etc. And if it fits awkwardly on your waist or they're too long, getting them hemmed is pretty cheap and saves time looking for a new pair of jeans! Hope this helps!!
*edit: it's been a year since I posted this comment and I'm glad it helped some of you ladies out:) just know you're not alone! There were dozens of girls I met who wanted to grab the smaller size and when I convinced them to go up they ended up loving the clothes more and usually bought it! It's sad that this is a mindset but just know you can rock anything and nobody cares/will ever know what size you are when you're wearing it:) you do you!

This is usually true but fashion nova jeans are sooo stretchy. I keep buying my size which is 15 and the crotch stretches out and slips down all day. I agree with the commenter above that the black looked the best on her, I agree, but she would have to wear a belt because if she sat down her butt would probably pop out. Idk I love the stretch for the most part but in other ways it’s super annoying. I’m thinking of sizing down and seeing if it would make a difference.

i REALLY needed to read this!!! im so stuck in caring what number i am in size. & ive bought from fashionnova a 3 forcing myself to fit but finally i gave in to buying a 5 & even those are hella tight because theyre highwaisted & actually a 26in waist when in reality my waist is 29in. :/ but in other regular jeans im a 5, ugh jean shopping is so frustrating!

Yes, I have the light classic and they didn't have that wash on them like on photo, they are more of a single colour and were way darker.

I have the same struggles with my thighs. When it fits perfect around my waist, it's too tight on my thighs. When I get a bigger size its too loose on my waist, but perfect on my thighs.

Victoria Barbosa no honey. I have 2 different sizes in jeans because all jeans fit me differently. I have a couple pair of jeans that are a size 3 and fit me large and then I have jeans that are a 5 and are too small.
NO sweetheart. I do know what im talking about, i have a fashion background. All DESIGNERS know all sizes are the same. The problem comes from the material that the garment is made out of. And they make clothing in the same proportion, you cant expect a person with a 27in waist and 42in hips to fit like someone with smaller hips they make clothes for proportionately fit women.
