Where will SV Era Booster Boxes Be In 5 Years?

- Today we are taking a look at SV era Pokemon booster boxes looking forward to a 5 year time frame with the mindset of investing and collecting. With the new MSRP of $160+ and possibility of reprints it is VERY difficult to make these predictions but I think it is interesting to see where we could potentially go with these booster boxes.

151 will be insane. My predictions:

UPC = $600?
Poster collection = $125?
Zapdos/Alakazam box = $160?

@@Itwasneveraphasecards definitely was wanting to guess and I’ll have to say like $500 to $600 but if it does like XY Evolutions it could see $1000. I know it’s printed a lot but the demand is there and all the coverage and them masterballs. I feel the bad Japanese economy will rebound and those that had to sell will circle back and want this set
@@Itwasneveraphasecards I was comparing to the middle sets of Sun & Moon but taking into account inflation and the fact that Scarlet & Violet has better cards. Can’t compare the back end of Sun & Moon because of COVID and Team up is just something else. Like to compare Scarlet & Violet base to Sun & Moon base isn’t comparable. Illustration rare are performing well and special illustration rare are the new Alt Arts and will be crazy in a few years let alone in 5

I feel your predictions 45 years are a bit conservative. Sword and shield base is close to $300 already, and most of the scarlet and violet era is better than this set. Also, to think that we are going to make twenty percent on our money in five years.We may as well invest in the stock market at that rate.
@@Teacherguy06 Quite possible, trying to factor in the print runs being higher than previous eras. But more collectors than ever.

I’m actually excited too see when people’s “aha” moment happens with S&V era lol I think greninja definitely helped with that lol booster boxes of twilight are already almost 120 a box on tcgplayer it’s crazy🤣

There will be a ready stock of S&V boxes in the future. All the investors have them. We will cause the reprints as we hold the current stock. Who here is sitting on S&M booster boxes in mass? Not many. Who here is sitting on S&V in mass? All of us. They'll go up yes, but I can't see double msrp for any S&V for this reason in 5 years.

You may be right but really not very impressive if that’s the gain after 5 years. Almost not worth the hassle. Better off in an index with those kinda gains
