I have discovered that classical music can be played in the background when studying literally any subject and it never diverts my attention like pop songs. its amazing
Yes! I can recommend the Bach cello suites as played by Pablo cassalles. I can put him through the big stereo and it's like the sound track of a movie where I'm getting epic stuff done.
It doesn't divert your focus but its magic still affects the soul.
What's more amazing is that it was designed with quite the opposite intention in mind: that you would listen to it most carefully, appreciating every nuance. But it really works both ways.

As suggested by another commenter, this video would be improved if it contained the names of each composition as performed. I had this same dilemma years ago, and finally gave in and purchased the complete works of Chopin - over 18 hours of music. After a while, i arrived at my own "Best of" list - a bit over 2 hours - but continue to add to it. I, too, find that each Chopin piece is always fresh when I listen to it, no matter how many times I've heard it, something I've never experienced with any other composer or artist. There's piano in everything Chopin wrote, and how he created an entire musical universe on a single instrument in 39 short years is truly beyond human comprehension.
He is the ultimate piano genious!!

Every lead note that is struck always lands in unexpected places no matter how many times I hear it. The time signature is complex and still so simple. The phrase is all so familiar but because of that oddity in the timing makes relistening to it, much like the first time. Timeless time signature. Timeless melody. Timeless.

I have been listening to this music for years and many of these favorite masterpieces, I've never know their names. Thank you so much for providing this marvelous music. It is wonderful at any time of the day or night. God bless you.
If you hover your mouse, then you can see. Also the little red line has breaks at beginnings and endings. The titles are pretty boring, nothing exciting like "Baby, I Need You!" but well that's why Chopin is described as classical.

Check out this version of Chopin's Nocturne No. 19 for 2 classical guitars. As one of my favorite, emotive pieces of Chopin, this recording retains much of the piano's range and stays true to Chopin's original composition. Enjoy!
