- Raas leela is the purest form of bhakti and devotion between Krishna and all the gopis of Brindavan. How melodious it is to hear him play the flute that attracts every gopi, to leave her chores behind and blindly run towards Krishna just to be united with him. How beautiful is the fact that it is the very love of gopi’s that makes Krishna manifest into multiple forms of himself so that every gopi has a chance to shower her love with utmost bhakti.
Presenting, Raas Leela by Anitha Guha’s Bharathanjali, taking the lyrics from Jayadeva’s Ashtapadi - Rathi Sukha and Chandana Charchitha.
Excerpts from Vijayathe Gopala Choodamani (Part 1) which was initially presented in Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana in 2016 and later presented at various sabhas in Chennai during the margazhi season 2017-18

It is always a feast to the eyes and ears to watch Anitha Guha's programme. Great singing by Vignesh Iswar and Sriranjani Santhanagopalan. If more clarity is there in the video with closeups, it would have been a greater treat. Overall Super!
