The speaker really isn't bad, it's the camera that's total shite. That's the only downfall. Which makes no sense bc the stylo 2 was sooo good. You'd think it'd improve with newer generations not the other way around.

@@jayed.926 yup, i was using it as a hot spot for my laptop and i saw the name ''LGE LM-Q710.FG'' come up and i typed it into google to see it has ''gyroscope'' under specs and i installed gyroscope test and it turns out this phone has ALL the features required for VR. I guess i no longer need that note 8 XD. So far this is the best phone i ever bought for the money.
Dont forget that if you are watching Yotube or on Netflix and click home it becomes a smaller screen on the bottom right. Its awesome! Also, you can change the color of the bottom icons. Double tap the sensor on the back for a screenshot.
I've enjoyed having a stylus with my smartphone since I first used a Note 3 a long time ago. For the way I use a phone this LG Stylo 4 is perfect and $700+ cheaper than a Note 9.
Just got this phone two days ago. Coming from lg Stylo 2 and loving it so far. So many features on this phone compared to Stylo 2. Everything changed so much. The speaker is fantastic as some say it's not Stylo 2 was horrible on the back. The screen is beautiful. Now I'm comparing to the Stylo 2 I had. So this is a huge upgrade. I just found when watching Netflix on phone it can cast Netflix straight to my Vizio smart tv and I can control Netflix with my phone through Netflix app and also cast to my fire TV. I don't need a Chromecast.. and also with you tube. But with fire TV must download Firefox browser or silk and UA-cam app. Love the quick nemo with stylus on lock screen and perfect place for my finger print unlock. In all awesome phone. We will see how it holds up after using it in months. Great video guys

Sounds like the latch inside the phone is defective. Take it to a celluar store (I use T-Mobile and adore them), and you will get a new one since it's a manufacturing error.

Awsome features!! I just got my LG Stylo 4 about 2 weeks ago paid $186 all together... Havnt had any issues. Last phone ZTE Zmax pro I had 2 1/2 years going strong , accidentally shattered it. Definitely a nice upgrade from android 6.1 to now 8.1.

My first LG was the G3 about 4 years ago...got the G4 about a year later on markdown. Since then, I wanted to upgrade Android but couldn't get to 8.1 on either of those older phones. Even though they both are still working great, I decided to go cheaper for a change. 'Downgraded' and upsized to the Stylo 4 about a year ago and I have been pleasantly surprised. No, the Stylo 4 is not the fastest, nor the best on paper for sure...but I honestly have no complaints and the built in stylus is a bonus. 6 inch screen looks great to me, and bigger then my other pricey phones. Dedicated to LG phones mostly for the expandable memory. Really love that knock on/off feature too. I am convinced now that its not necessary and even foolish to ever spend $800-$1000 on a phone. I actually bought myself a nice new guitar and a new Ipad with the money I saved by choosing the Stylo4. Cell phones are designed to only last a couple years before the non replaceable gets battery is worn out or you cant further upgrade the software and soon become obsolete. So why pay 7- 10 times more than needed? Yeah I agree the speaker is not good. But when I am gonna do any serious listening I dont use the built in speaker on any phone. My JBL products deliver. And LG still gives us the old school headphone jack and a great surround sound feature built right in. Good stuff. For $100 you really cant go wrong.

That's why its called a Stylo! I had the first model recommended by a store employee when I was grumpy about qwerty keyboards not being made, as I was all thumbs w touch keyboards. Having the pen made it a lot easier to get used to. :)
Just go check it out, but I love my Stylo4 and the 6.2 inch screen kicks ass. Also, for the price, it cannot be beat! There are a few versions of the ST4 so make sure you check that out.
Get the STYLO 4 it's awesome sauce phone people like the iPhone but this Is a great phone had all four of them and they keep getting better it's just like the note but in LG form
I just bought the Stylo 4, and haven't activated it yet. My 3 is still active. Will the 4 connect to my wifi without being activated, so that I can do the transfer? So basically, can both phones be connected to the wifi at the same time, though only one is active. I ask this because I'm going to keep the same phone number.
This isnt a hate comment but.... I'm currently using a stylo 2, I know old. But all of these but the last one I have known. It's just that last one doesn't work on the older model Hopefully sometime soon I'll go and get an upgrade, long over due for one. I hope I like the stylo 4

i have the stylo 4 + my only problem is that i cannot change the amount of time the screen stays on, it seems to be set for like 10-15 seconds and no matter i do i cant get it to stay on longer. do you have any ideas
Are you able to set all apps to install on sd card instead of internal memory? I have the Stylo 2 Plus which does not allow that. You can go in after installs and move them but as soon as they update they move back to internal memory. VERY frustrating!!!

I mean this isnt samsung but lg does make solid phones i think it will be just fine i havent had any issues and i know people saying the stylo 4 slows down alot after a week i havent seen that issue..But then again im on the 3gb but 2gb should be fine for the phone with the 1.8ghz processor

You don't have to leave at least 1 of the default penpop, it just have to have 1 on. As soon as you turn on any other application you can turn the old one off. Just letting you know :)
A month into having the stylo 4 my back flash and flashlight stopped working for no reason. My background on my phone acts up a lot too, so say i have a picture of a tree my phone ends up zooming in on the background itself its super weird. Recently my finger print has stopped working on my phone too. Ive had nothing but problems with this phone.

You can also keep UA-cam playing if in another app because it goes into a mini window that can be moved around. While a video is playing hit the home button and it will keep playing while responding to tests or being productive.
Just to let everyone know...i just got my phone today. Ive heard bad things about the sound but honestly it's not that bad...no it isnt quite what I'm used to but it sounds even better with Bluetooth speakers. I also used a cassette adapter in my panasonic 300w radio it it sounded great and I tried it with an aux cord. They all sound great 👍

If you know how to maximize your options and tweak any android device, you can beast mode your lg stylo 4. Mine is lighting fast regardless of only 2 gigs of ram.
Actually you don't need to keep one of the default pop ups, you just need to have two selected at a time to switch them. It didn't allow you to deactivate yours because then all pop ups would have been turned off. It took me a minute to figure that out haha hope this helps someone else out :)
That's not how the pin feature works. The little button you pushed on the card just keeps the app from being closed. But that's always available. The extra pin feature you activated in your settings is for the larger pin button you see towards the bottom when you view your open apps. That makes it so that if you're watching a video you won't exit the app at all. Or if you're letting someone use your phone they can't open another app
well i was goin 2 get Stylo 3 at Walmart and ppl work back tol me Stylo 4 was better it has 6.2" touchscreen and more bc no removable battery it doesn't bother me i love my Stylo 4
For the pen apps you actually don't need a default app to change them you just need another app then you can deselect the pen app and add 5 apps of your choosing
I have a Stylo 4. I just turned on maximum battery saver. This automatially turns off the location setting. But then you can turn location setting back on while remaining in maximum battery saver mode. Hope that answers your question.
Hi. I lost my zte blade and got the stylo four. But I don't see a way to cast to a smart TV on this phone. Also, when I am recording an audio message in messenger, if I leave the screen to another screen, it ends recording. On the zte, it would keep recording-which was great cause I could read other screens I to my recording. Anyone know if I can resolve those two problems in my stylo four--or am I just stuck with these two features being gone? Thank u for your help. 🙏
You have to have at least one pop up selected to start. After you have a different one selected you can remove the every single one that automatically cones on it. I was reading inbetween the lines.
I got this phone a week ago and i love it. Ive owned the stylo 1, 2 and 3. The only weak point is the speaker which sucks.

What gallery app are you using on the lg stylo 4? I do not like the pic gallery that came from the factory install. It sucks to me.

If you know how to maximize your options and tweak any android device, you can beast mode your lg stylo 4. Mine is lighting fast regardless of only 2 gigs of ram.

I got my stylo 4 yesterday so far it's cool
My pen(s) have fallen out 3 times. I've ordered replacements for the 2 of them and they were lost within a week. Not buying another pen.
Just a heads up, all the features are included with the Stylo 3 and 3+ as well as the 4 :)
Actually you don't need to keep one of the default pop ups, you just need to have two selected at a time to switch them. It didn't allow you to deactivate yours because then all pop ups would have been turned off. It took me a minute to figure that out haha hope this helps someone else out :)
That's not how the pin feature works. The little button you pushed on the card just keeps the app from being closed. But that's always available. The extra pin feature you activated in your settings is for the larger pin button you see towards the bottom when you view your open apps. That makes it so that if you're watching a video you won't exit the app at all. Or if you're letting someone use your phone they can't open another app
My LG Stylo 3 has all of those options plus a removable battery so why should I upgrade?
well i was goin 2 get Stylo 3 at Walmart and ppl work back tol me Stylo 4 was better it has 6.2" touchscreen and more bc no removable battery it doesn't bother me i love my Stylo 4

For the pen apps you actually don't need a default app to change them you just need another app then you can deselect the pen app and add 5 apps of your choosing
If u have it set on maximum battery life can u turn on location or do u have take it off max.
I have a Stylo 4. I just turned on maximum battery saver. This automatially turns off the location setting. But then you can turn location setting back on while remaining in maximum battery saver mode. Hope that answers your question.

Hi. I lost my zte blade and got the stylo four. But I don't see a way to cast to a smart TV on this phone. Also, when I am recording an audio message in messenger, if I leave the screen to another screen, it ends recording. On the zte, it would keep recording-which was great cause I could read other screens I to my recording. Anyone know if I can resolve those two problems in my stylo four--or am I just stuck with these two features being gone? Thank u for your help. 🙏
The Stylo 4 definitely DOES cast to a smart tv, i use it all the time, think you have to turn it on in settings.

You have to have at least one pop up selected to start. After you have a different one selected you can remove the every single one that automatically cones on it. I was reading inbetween the lines.
I don't know if it's just me but turning blue light filter on phones to me makes the graphics look better on the phone I don't know why
