I have yet to see a kit car in person that was completed. Usually found in a trailer park under a tarp with a poorly fit body, engine half out and a wheel base that is far too narrow. This looks good! Who cars what it's not. Love it for what it is!

Lambo is nice,,,,,,, Ferrari nose is just awful . If its not posdible to respect dimensions...please not begining project.......often Fake Lambos are really nices but Fake Ferraris are often ugly
I think the reason why replicas like this get such a bad rap is because so many are done poorly with parts flappin' in the wind and using lawn mower engines in something that's supposed to be a sports car. Done well, with a respectable base & quality materials, it wouldn't matter if it's "real" as long as it's fun, enjoyable... and doesn't break if someone looks at it sideways.
I'm into all of these custom built cars. I would rather have a one of a kind car. Then one anyone can have.
There's a guy from Russia or somewhere near there building a car based on the Cyberpunk game!! I haven't gotten any updates, so not sure what they are doing now, but they had it almost finished. You can find they're UA-cam channel if you search for real cyberpunk car or something like that. I'd love to have one of those futuristic cars for sure!!!
I hope to land a Diablo Replica soon. I always wanted a Countach but I ended up wanting a Diablo more. Plus I can get a roadster. I'm much larger than you are, I cannot imagine trying to fit myself in a Diablo regularly. Stick a 3800 SC in it and youre set. If I get a car ill have to drive up from Phoenix to Las Vegas and let you check it out.
Yeah I agree on swapping in a supercharged 3800 V6 L67 with a 4T65E-HD transaxle. That 2.8L that comes stock is so underpowered...!!!
@@TheMaddPCGuy I'd use the F23 transaxle instead. That auto will end up getting fried over time.
Those replica makes more functional sense because of the platform built on.
The Countach was my dream car after watching Cannonball Run. I think every kid had a poster of that car. I had the chance to pick up a roller chassis kit car with a bad motor for 2k and someone beat me to it. I actually like the fiero cars. I was looking for a donor but then the price of kits went up and I was pretty done at that point.
I think it was because of the two ladies who drove it.

The bodywork looked exceptionally well done and flat. Things like the trim that goes round the headlight looks great rather than a sikaflex filler that you often see.
The fact that it’s not stretched is the first thing I noticed too. The craftsmanship looks top notch, but there’s no mistaking it for the real thing. I can’t wait for the Hoovie crossover episode.

looks more real with the roof on. the side glass makes it look more stretched out. i think they nailed the front and rear end. u can only barely tell the fiero cabin proportions are a tad bit off but looks good

One of the better ones I've seen (don't have a best but this might be it). Like the ability to pull the top and part of the doors. Doubt my 6'5" would fit w-o some redesign.
Looks a lot better than a lot of replicas but to make a targer no, you know it’s a fake plus the pop up lights are round not square and the doors pushing out, that’s an aventador thing not a countach.
People take drivetrains from the later pontiac grand prix gxp's which had 5.3l ls engines and swap them into fierro's, so it would definitely be doable in this car if he was interested in some performance.

Funny, that is 100% my old car. I had one in ARIZONA about 12 years ago. My dad and I put skateboard wheels upfront to pull in the driveway and mine had Diablo seats and a very minor minor scratch on the outside side of the wing on the ride side fin just like that one. My was titled as a 1989 lambo and it was the exact same. Very difficult to put fuel in it. It had white interior with white Diablo seats but I swear that is my old car????? I traded my old chopper for this back in 2008/2009 during the recession. I know it’s my old car from Arizona.
Funny thing is, fieros weren't made in 89, 88 was the last year
@@johnfehr89 no one is saying anything about fiero in 1989. The Lamborghini was the 25th anniversary in 1989, that’s all. All fiero enthusiasts now the car was only made from 84-88 with the first year of the gt being 85
You are correct sir! You sold it to a guy in Chandler AZ and then i bought it from him. Had it for a few years then sold it to Bob almost a year after this video was made. Great times with the car for a few years both here in Vegas and AZ, but for health reasons i sold it to Bob. Thanks for putting the skateboard trucks on it...saved the front end many times! :)
I like the Square headlights better then the cycle ones, they fit the design, also makes sense & the targa top.

A guy local to me was trying to sell a couple of 308 kit cars that were built on a Fiero chassis. He had a black one and a red one. They weren’t very expensive. If I remember correctly one was the iron duke and the other one had a V-6. I bet he still has them.

Fun fact! There was NEVER a Lamborghini Countach targa, or convertible. He said that….. It’s fun tho!
Could always get a hold of Hoovie and have him help you on finding a replica lambo. Never know , maybe a few "purists" might know where a few replicas are stashed.
The proportions on it are very elegant even if they are not quite authentic to the original. Given the choice between this and the notch back Fiero body, I would definitely pick this replica body. It is a beautiful car in its own right.

I'm not a massive Countach fan, but that Fiero example is on the money.
It will definetly be more reliable and comfortable.
Decided to sell my countach IFG kit it is meant for a stretched Fiero but I bought a factory five GTM chassis that I planned on using instead. Will sell separate or together.
