Something about your editing, your personality, your videos in general-always makes each new episode feel ten times shorter than it really is. I have never played a god of war game and im astounded with the amazing story telling for such old games. I love the mid 2000 games and how they don't always take themselves too serious with things such as that fish skin, it reminds me of the mods you got after cod 4's story. Amazing

Great video! God of War 2 is up there with the original for my favorite in the series, so it was great to see a video on it! I agree that after the opening it slows down story-wise for a while, but there are at least some fun bosses and puzzles to hold you over until it really picks up in the final third of the game.
Can't wait for Resident Evil 2, btw!

I actually can’t imagine going back to the original trilogy after God of War (2018). When I played them I just sat down and earned the platinum for each game in order over the course of a month. I do love the context that playing the OT gave to the latest installment, but Kratos has so little character that I don’t think I’d enjoy the old ones now. Congrats on another platinum, can’t wait to see God of War III!
Actually he has a lot of character in the original games, going from Chains of Olympus to GoW2 you can see his hope turn into anger as the Gods and everyone else screw him over
I can understand what you mean. I still like the old Kratos and the games for what they were at the time. Although, I stand by the ending of the first game with Kratos trying to protect his family from clones of himself but ultimately fails as brilliant.

I agree. The story of GoW 2 isn’t great. (My memories of it were surprisingly inacurate.) Nothing really happens, but the boss fight marathon was entertaining. I remember that story cliffhanger vividly.
The trophy list is fun and not to difficulty (except for the challenges).
I also study your videos for editing inspiration. Your videos are always fun to watch.

Good job Adam, you're lucky the trial of the titans wasn't as bad as the first one, the last trial. I still shiver when i think about that small stage where you had to kill enemies to lift the elevator, brrrrr.
Yeah, way better than the trials in the first one. That elevator is so tense.

Oh hell yeah, GoW2! I used to play this as a kid (bad parenting lol) and I couldn’t get past the qte where the foot crushes you lol
I played it as a kid too. My parents thought it was a history game and were happy I was learning about ancient Greece. Little did they know.
That QTE bit is tough, don't blame the kid version of you for giving up.

Adam if u want to see the whole story u need to play in chronological order first ascension then chains of Olympus then gow 1 then the other psp game ghost of sparta then gow 2 and lastly gow 3 I got burned out after ghost of sparta but seeing you play gow 2 gave me a motivation to get through the other ones (I want to platinum all games and do them in chronological order before playing the gow 2018) I hope I get to it this year I'm half way there. Great video btw

I think God of War 2 might be my favourite. I'll always love God of War 1 with it being the first one I played back on the PS2.
Congratulations, Adam. I am a little surprised. The graphics didn’t age well. My imagination was wrong, I guess. (When I first played it on PS2, it was one of the coolest games.)
I am working on GoW III Remastered but with a break. Just got my Resident Evil 7 Platinum today.
I hope you enjoy your next Platinum journey. I did. It was the first game I played 8 times in a row without losing the fun. Game of the year 2019 for me.

Great platinum journey as always. Thanks Adam! I was going to recommend Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales as one of the games you should platinum, as you enjoyed the original installment, but I saw you said you will get it once you get a PS5. I recommend getting the Ultimate Edition as it includes Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered which is totally worth it. It also has a new trophy list and its DLC for free, but if you can't bother getting the platinum again for it you can also transfer your save from the older game and finish the DLC's. For me it was totally worth a replay.

Amazing video as always adam. Funny thing I noticed when I got my god of war platinum, in 1,2 and 3, I got them all within a week of eachother but a year apart. Totally unintentional, all beginning if February, 1 in 2019, 2 in 2020 and 3 this year in 2021.
