So after watching this movie I opened my Bible and it opened to Hosea. I can't say that I remember the last time that happened. So this is what God is saying. Im being honest. I don't want to go God's path. I just want to live a life of comfort. Not hurting anyone, just tired of being broke all the time. My entire life I have been poor, if not in poverty. Sometimes I wonder if I am hearing God's voice or if it is my own. Pray for me, I'm tired. God Bless you for this movie. We will need rhema word movies now.

This is a truly "deep" film. It caused deep reflection before could find the words to sum up. Oriana character was hurting & so she bought into a cosmetic, glittering world, of harmful, insincere love. She was unable to love like God, instead based her response to way she was treated by people. This happens when we do not know God for ourself. Its only by seeking God - drawing close to God that God draws close to us. God primarily is love, but He is also corrects & so on. Oriana husband rebukes to the church were off putting - as often when Jesus spoke it was just simple sentences. As it can take time to recover from full blown telling offs & be big enough to heed God corrections. Oriana character had to be tough to live in an environment where her in-laws were silently judging her - throwing the first stone. Oriana husband was good, as tho relationships have problems, but to be loved like he loved & not abuse was refreshing. Thank you for this film it really portrayed the Hosea story & gave plenty of food for thought. May God bless you all..

So after watching this movie I opened my Bible and it opened to Hosea. I can't say that I remember the last time that happened. So this is what God is saying. Im being honest. I don't want to go God's path. I just want to live a life of comfort. Not hurting anyone, just tired of being broke all the time. My entire life I have been poor, if not in poverty. Sometimes I wonder if I am hearing God's voice or if it is my own. Pray for me, I'm tired. God Bless you for this movie. We will need rhema word movies now.

This is a truly "deep" film. It caused deep reflection before could find the words to sum up. Oriana character was hurting & so she bought into a cosmetic, glittering world, of harmful, insincere love. She was unable to love like God, instead based her response to way she was treated by people. This happens when we do not know God for ourself. Its only by seeking God - drawing close to God that God draws close to us. God primarily is love, but He is also corrects & so on. Oriana husband rebukes to the church were off putting - as often when Jesus spoke it was just simple sentences. As it can take time to recover from full blown telling offs & be big enough to heed God corrections. Oriana character had to be tough to live in an environment where her in-laws were silently judging her - throwing the first stone. Oriana husband was good, as tho relationships have problems, but to be loved like he loved & not abuse was refreshing. Thank you for this film it really portrayed the Hosea story & gave plenty of food for thought. May God bless you all..
