Hi Hayley. I loved the interview and watched all of it. Great job. I have known Steve all his life since I am a close friend of his father. I was there when he heard music for the first time as a new baby listening to the "Moody Blues" and the song "Nights In White Satin".
I love the part where he’s taking about how we consume music vs how it used to be, I was exactly the same except I was buying vinyl and CDs not cassettes 😊 you had to find out from magazines about new albums and usually you had never heard more than maybe one song from it (if it was released as a single it there was a track on a cd on front of a magazine) the test if it was brand new to you, and in recurs stores I would grab a tonne of CDs and get the guys working there to okay bits of it or recommend from my pile of CDs before buying! I enjoyed that process but now I really enjoy that the second I hear about a new record or a band I’ve never heard of befure, I can go and listen and check their stuff straight away , whole discographies, before buying…
