My dad had advanced stage prostate cancer in his early 50s. He had his prostate removed via robotic surgery and radiation. He’s been in remission for 6 years now. Sending prayers and well wishes for your dad!
I'll definitely be praying for your Dad and your family. My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few years ago at age 74 and had seed radiation. His PSA number has shown the cancer is gone! Prayers for your Dad to have similar results.

My dad had prostate cancer and I was so scared. I couldn't talk to anyone without crying. But he had radiation and the cancer was gone. He lived to be 91. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. 🙏🫂❤️

My dad is 70 and 6 months ago he had prostate cancer and had surgery. His recovery was going great! He doesn’t have to worry about it returning or spreading to his bones. Then the Sunday before July 4th he had a heart attack that they call the widow maker. By the grace of God he made it to the hospital and went right into surgery to have two stents put in right away. Doctor said it was a miracle that he was still with us. I’m praying for you and your family.

Rachel, I can understand your daughter heart worried and sad about your dad. I can still remember being with my mom 45 years ago when she got her cancer diagnosis. I was a young 26 year old, she was my only living parent and the feeling of sadness and fear will forever be with me. I remember the chair, waiting room and crying in the car all the way home after we had to leave her at the hospital. I was devastated and we had not even received the new yet that it had spread. I will definitely be praying for your dad.
Rachel I'm so sorry to hear your dad has cancer I know what he's goin through coz I've been there 4 times over myself obviously not prostate but other cancer instead at stage 4
What I'm trying to say is that if I can go through stage 4 cancer with chemo radiotherapy and a stem cell transplant and come through the other side I'm sure your dad will get through this.
I pray he will make a full recovery like myself . U r all in my thoughts xxx

Prayers for you all... I know what you are going through I lost my Mum very quickly to cancer in 2021 and now my Dad has stage IV lung cancer. He is 78 and they said his cancer isn't curable however with chemo and immo therapy his tumour has shrunk to less than half the size and he's been given more time... God does answer prayers. One thing I want to remind you of is Cancer is no longer an automatic death sentence. There are so many success stories. Praying for strength and understanding for you and prayers for guidance for the medical staff treating your Dad. He is an awesome Dad and Grandpa💕

I just wanted to say I’m sorry I didn’t reach out sooner. You have people rooting for you and your family. I told you ages ago I bought my Dad a copy of your book, and we lived hours apart ( he loved your story), my Dad passed away this May. Truly the hardest thing in my life. This is the sign you need to know you will get through this, your Dad will get through it, and your kids. The evenings are really hard, I would encourage you to talk about it with safe people it gets easy the more times you let yourself cry. Our families obviously have had different situations, and I’m not trying to be a downer I just want you to know that you will be prayed for and what your feeling is okay. As someone who had to have help getting through a really hard last year, I personally am here!!!! Grace for yourself during this time sweet lady😘

I truly understand my husband had kidney cancer last year and had his left kidney removed he also had a mass on his left adrenal that they thought was where it had metastasized but thank God it wasn’t. He done immunotherapy and is doing ok now, having issues with his thyroid but doing ok. Much love and prayers to you all ❤️💔🙏

I’m praying so hard for your family! My dad passed from prostate cancer… he was the unlucky 20%. He went into remission for 7 years, and lived well for those years.
I lost one of my grandfather to liver cancer and one of my grandmother to gastro tumour... We found out about the disease in last stage, both were having 85+ years of age, so doctors and experts told us:
1) to be with them at home...
2) gove them love and care as much as possible...
3) don't irritate them with injections and relatable pains, since they're in non-curable situation, no treatment can save them, so it's better not to go with treatment...
Doctors were right they survived for 15 days only... It was almost last stage, by treatment we would have given them pain only... Sometimes extending life is very painful...
Sending prayers! Just lost my mom to cancer in June and life without her has been devastating. I pray you have received a positive outlook and an optimistic treatment plan. My mom lived 8 years with cancer as it was non-aggressive. And I feel your struggle...when you can put on a strong front but breakdown when you let your guard down and life becomes quiet. It is easy to become distracted in the midst of the chaos with life and kids (I also have 4 littles). Praying you find strength and remember God will carry you in your weakest moments.

Omg I’m so sorry Rachel. My mom was diagnosed with angiosarcoma, terminal cancer in 2020, thankfully she’s in remission for about two yrs now. I can tell you at first all I did was cry. I will surely put your family in my prayers.

My dad, my step dad, my neighbor, and numerous friends were all diagnosed and thankfully beat prostate cancer. Lots of great treatment options available. Prayers for complete healing for your dad. I’m also a mom of 4 who loves her family so very much. I totally can relate to all your emotions. My 23 year old niece is currently battling stage 2 breast cancer and just had a double mastectomy. It has been an incredibly emotional 7 months for our entire family. I pray that your family is blessed with good news. That your dad’s cancer has not spread.

I have six grown kids. I had 4 within 4.5 years. Try to find some time for yourself and reflect on how much God loves you. I know it is hard. These times will help you grow stronger in the Lord and you will be an encouragement to others when they experience the same. I want to say I have been there, but I promise, God's grace is sufficient and you are the apple of his eye!
Oh my goodness! Certainly prayers are headed your way as always. Unfortunately, nothing really prepares us for the unexpected, which is why it knocks us off our feet sometimes. It’s ok to be unbalanced for a while, go with it. When you know more about your Dad’s situation you will feel better, guaranteed. You will feel better even if it isn’t what you want to hear….because then you and your family will have a plan, and you will know exactly what you’re going to do to make things better. And you will. I can say guaranteed, because I’ve been in your shoes several times. Crying is one of the best stress medicines going, and if that’s what works for you indulge yourself. Often if you want. Find a good place, close the door and let it all out. You’ll feel better. You’ve got this, you know you do…so do I. ❤

I am so sorry Rachael and family. Praying for your dad and for your family’s strength. As far as little Wyatt accidents happen especially for boys! You are a great momma and it sounds like you handled it like a pro. Try to stay positive. Listen and sing to your worship music and write in a journal. I’m the same way with keeping busy to work through grief and stressful situations and found writing out my thoughts and feelings to help. If it was regarding a person I would write a letter to that person and either give it to them or I would keep it if it was something that would be hurtful to the person.
I work for a Urology group near Hilton Head. They can do amazing things these days for prostate cancer. Your mother is a smart, strong intelligent woman. Prayers have already been said for your Dad. God Bless. You will come thru this.

PS if you’re given the option of robotic surgery totally take that option. I just had a robotic hysterectomy 3 weeks ago and the recovery has been much easier than regular surgery sending many prayers your way

For those reading this, any man that gets an enlarged prostrate around 40.. it usually is due to high estrogen. Stinging nettle supplement will take the excess estrogen out of the body. This had helped my husband tremendously. He no longer has the symptoms of enlarged prostrate. I hope this helps someone!! 🙏

My husband had surgery robotic and they removed his prostate in 9/2000 his was slow growing also. He had bx 6mon apart. Decided he wanted it out. He has done great the cancer had now spread all lymph nodes was negative. All his check ups every 6 months have been great.

My dad had prostate cancer maybe 10 years ago, and he had the robotic surgery. He’s doing great, getting ready to retire. I remember how I felt though, when you hear the word cancer. My mom then had stage three uterine cancer back in 2016, and other then side effects from the chemo and radiation, she’s doing great as well! As for me, I’ve had five back surgeries for my degenerative disc disease, but my spinal stenosis is the biggest issue now for when it’s at since it’s effecting my legs/neuropathy. Then a few years ago, I had 28 kidney stones at one time. I guess since I take pain medication, I didn’t notice it until the stones got too big that I couldn’t pass it on my own! You will all be in my prayers! I know exactly how you feel right now and it’s not easy to keep it together. Your boys are absolutely precious and can’t believe how big they’ve all gotten, especially Leo! Hang in there, Rachel!
My dad has been diagnosed with cancer two months ago and is going to take his first chemo soon this month. I cried so hard the first days, when doctors confirmed our worries but then I remembered the most valuable lesson he gave me: "Do never lose your will to live, laugh at everything even in the face of the most tragic event". And I'm going to do that, whatever the outcome...

So sorry. My dad had cancer 2 times. First one was follicular lymphoma beat it. But 6 years later it was lung cancer and metastases to liver and lymph nodes, and he could not be healed until heaven. He's his best self now in heaven we miss him but know we will see him again.
