Worx 2AH battery: amzn.to/3GxLqKg
20v power washer: amzn.to/3CM3kYU
40v high pressure washer: amzn.to/3kh0moP
40v leaf blower: amzn.to/3k8Kd4B
You are so intelligent and skillful! Thanks for the video!
That Sir is fantastic. Just add some more batteries and leave the rest as is. Brilliant! How has it been holding up?
Would love to do this myself at one point and use these batteries to power all kinds of things.
Add USB-C to be able to charge laptops. Maybe some kind of rig where one can put a bunch of these batteries onto to make a "powerwall". Use these Big batteries to power electric bikes and more! Being able to use them for all kinds of applications is a dream!
Thank you for the comment! Yes it is holding very well even though the cells were already very used. The added capacity allows the drills, leaf blower and power washer to run close to 3 times the original range.
thank you brother this is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad this helped!
Well done!! Bravo 👏
That is freakn awesome! I wonder if you can use the bottom too but just print an extender?
Yes, I was planning to design it that way, but you wouldn't be able to reuse the factory screws. Instead you would need over 2 inches long screws in the same style which is not common
@@YvonSmart That makes sense. You should design battery adapters to swap batteries between tool brands!
@@loweryjk Yeah, that's a good idea
Awesome work
You should sell those moulds as not everyone has a 3D printer.
nice job!
Good job bro
Cool!
Thats very smart
Was hoping to use your case but our screws in UK are not in the same place haha
They sell a different version of the battery in the UK?
@@YvonSmart ye the screws are on the short ends in uk
likely you have the 4 terminal battery, e.g. WA3551. So they are not the same, the one in the video at 13:45 is 5 a terminal one. An alternative is buying a battery shell + pcb (should be sub 15 pounds), 5s2p and using some decent batteries, LG MJ1 is 3.4Ah (so close to 7Ah) but it cannot be heavily discharged, still 20A for 2p should suffice for most of the tools, and it's like 250g lighter than having 5 extra batteries for 5s3p.
@@stanimir4197 Yeah, should be a good alternative. I always worry about compatibility when using after market parts
Smart!
What do You think about 5s2p 21700 for Worx tool?
Even better due to higher capacity and current capability, only problem is they will not fit the same enclosure
@@YvonSmart Yes, 21700 are longer, so it either would require a new housing (just bottom part) or place batteries along the box, they will fit.
@@alesynkin Yes, they are longer and larger. A 5s3p using 18650 cells is 54 x 65 x 90 mm while the same config using 21700 is 63 x 70 x 105 mm. Both two pieces of the enclosure need to be redesigned
