Let's try and talk about it. I find most SNL sketches to be fair to all parties, whereas I found this one very disappointing. I mean, I'd like to be presented just one activist who's advocating for women to earn less... Middle eastern ones I will not accept though, because they're like living in a different millenium altogether.

They were good comments, in the same way a sadist might tie to cats together with a clothes line, for the express purpose of watching them rip each other apart. That's essentially what you get when you put folks who are devoted to men's rights and those who are hot and heavy over women's rights(note: Neither really gives two shits about civil or human rights)into a room together
From what I've noticed, MRAs, not that I feel the need to defend everything about them, generally don't pick fights with feminists, but the opposite is true. (I'm thinking of large, in-person gatherings, not some rando unhinged MRA going on a rant online... which was likely provoked anyway.)

That said, the frickin arm/neck motion Cecily makes for a turtle is the best thing I've seen all week. That part alone makes the sketch worth it.

@Just Me I read that men's rights activists are more people who want to see men protected in cases of family (divorce, reproduction), false accusations of rape (and other such things), and potential suicide. They shouldn't be misogynists; they want a world where men are not as easily and unjustly villainized.

@Just Me I'm gay with almost entirely female friends. I'm not an MRA, but from what I've seen most of the issues they talk about are legitimate (divorce, rape, unequal responsibilities, etc.). Sure there are those who are anti-woman, but we don't judge feminism for those few anti-man feminists.
So my issue with this sketch is that it portrays MRA as simply anti-woman, when that isn't what it is about at all. It is simply men's rights activism. In fact MRA is really a part of feminism since feminism is supposed to be about political, economic, and social equality of the sexes.
