Li plays even more difficult bowings, f.e. in the arpeggio vatiation, where he begins with an upbow arpeggio, if I have seen right. Then he plays an octave higher than it is written. Riccis bowing skill is unpassed, but unfortunately his intonation is weak at some points. But if he would prepare this show piece, he would play as he had done so many years.
