Yep worked for me to I bought a used washer and first of all the machines are new to us we hadn’t upgraded washing machines since like 15 years ago and I bought the used one thinking the filter was clean and the 5c and 4c code came out I did the filter clean and a lot of junk came out

It solved the error and machine is working again, thank you for your video! :)
note: I took me a total of 1h to drain out about 15L, I really wanted to make sure to drain out as much water as possible before opening the filter. I used 2 bowls and poured into a bucket so alternating once it got full. Once I saw no more drops I opened the filter and just a bit of water came out that I easily could clean with a cloth to find some paper debris stuck inside. I washed the filter with warm water and a bit of dish soap and closed everything up.

if you done all of this and it's still not draining, have a look down the hole where the filter goes. you might need to put it at an angle to see down there. after i drained it manually 4 or 5 times and cleaned it all out. i gave up and got a samsung tech out for €170. he took one look down the hole and seen something was stopping the fan. it took him less than 15 seconds with a screwdriver to dig it out. the more you know (shooting star)

The most common reason for this error is a blocked filter or a kinked drain hose. You should also check that the drain hose has been installed properly and clean the hose thoroughly to remove any blockages that may be preventing your washing machine from draining properly.

I've done all this, got someone to come in and have a look, the man said there was nothing wrong with the waching machine. I even got someone to come in and unclog the sink just incase theres a blockage. Any other suggestions?

Do you need to first unplug unit then turn off the water ?

Before anything else, unplug your machine, so you can be sure it’s switched off and no power is running to it.

Sorry to hear that. In such a case, I usually grab a pair of pliers, grip it around where I would hold with my finger and push in hard and turn.
