As a Death Grips fan, I highly recommend Muuntautuja by Oranssi Pazuzu. Great album for getting into noisy experimental music, but also amazing in itself! 👽
Phew - first reaction to the Money Store. One of my favorite albums but man, it took a while to get there. Definitely not a “love at first listen” for me, but holy shit - when you get it, you get it. Hits so hard now.
Tava esperando esse video há tempos 🎉😂 Eu gosto bastante da lírica do Ride, ele fala bastante sobre paranoia gerada pela era digital, acho que combina bastante com a sonoridade eletronica extrema deles.
Yeah Year of the Snitch is a really bad place to start, I'd generally suggest people start at Ex-Military (their first release) then to The Money Store, or you could even start at this album. They're a band a lot of people will have to warm up to, and their more accessible stuff will help a lot with that.
@@guitubagrips9719Chill 😭😭He’s just saying that if he doesn’t like TMS, by FAR their most accessible album, then he’s most likely not gonna enjoy anything else from them. I mean he could’ve been a little less condescending with his wording, but I don’t think he meant for it to sound that way. A lot of DG fans are elitist nerds though you’re correct.
@Chronicallyaddictedtomusic yeah "appreciate" isnt good wording. I dont "appreciate" lots of music. That doesn't make it any better or worse. I also always see elitist people in reaction videos tweaking if someone doesn't enjoy DG.
Year of the Snitch is Death Grips at their weirdest and most self referential, so it’s no surprise it doesn’t hit for a first timer.

Trust me man Double Helix will grow on you. I didn't like it at first either but that beat became one of my fav DG beats.
Also the Old Boy statement was ON POINT
although the delivery seems like it's just there to fit the aesthetic, there are some songs with very interesting lyrics!
I think you would enjoy bottomless pit the most out of there discography, if you ever have time to listen you def should
He just made a vid on it lol
Check out The Garden - Kiss My Super Bowl Ring, some incredible production
Fun Fact: System Blower samples a Serena Williams tennis game and a train from toronto.
lmao i forgot how much of a damn whiplash punk weight is I nearly fell off my chair from the hype from that bass man holy shiiiittt
man you looking great
21:21 lmfaooo i never thought about it that way
I Seen Footage gives me early 90s Tone Loc vibes... don't hear early 2000s but eachs's own

And Zach forst came to popularity with his duo Hella. Completely different from "rap".
are u in prison
Hell yeah
This is EASILY the most accessible Death Grips album, if you don't appreciate this forget it
Now while this is true, 90% of The Money Store fans didn’t love it on first listen, including me
Bottomless Pit is way more accessible. Look at his reaction to that. He enjoyed it much more
Death Grips fans try not to be elitist nerds challenge: Impossible
