Can potentially cause issues, particularly later down the line with court cases or it can potentially viewed as obstructing a constable (the law here is very vague and it's easy to fall foul of it). The Police can't question him further as this would constitute an interview, which the suspect is entitled to legal advice and the interview is to be properly recorded in accordance with PACE. A bystander, particularly one who is filming, who asks the suspect questions pertinent to the offence in which they have been arrested after the person has been cautioned could be considered an interview. This could have ramifications if the officers attempt to use any information stated as part of their evidence. As a result this could impede court proceedings later down the line, alternatively if a significant statement is made and is allowed to be used, it could be considered that the suspect incriminate themselves. As such, asking questions of a person who has been arrested and cautioned at the time could potentially be considered obstructing the constable in the execution of their duty. Completely support your right to film dude, just be careful when asking questions when the lad has just been nicked. Can potentially cause issues, particularly later down the line with court cases or it can potentially viewed as obstructing a constable (the law here is very vague and it's easy to fall foul of it). By all means film, but trust me I would not engage in conversation in this scenario. Keep up the good work though man, enjoying your content!

@@stuartbrown8259 I speak from a place of qualifications and experience. Once the man has been arrested and cautioned anything he says can be used against him. The Police can't question him further as this would constitute an interview, which the suspect is entitled to legal advice and the interview is to be properly recorded in accordance with PACE.
A bystander, particularly one who is filming, who asks the suspect questions pertinent to the offence in which they have been arrested after the person has been cautioned could be considered an interview. This could have ramifications if the officers attempt to use any information stated as part of their evidence. As a result this could impede court proceedings later down the line, alternatively if a significant statement is made and is allowed to be used, it could be considered that the suspect incriminate themselves.
As such, asking questions of a person who has been arrested and cautioned at the time could potentially be considered obstructing the constable in the execution of their duty.
I appreciate you have an opinion and I am always happy to debate in matters of opinion. However, on this occasion this is not a matter of opinion, I am providing advice to prevent somebody from getting themselves in to trouble. I have watched previous videos and I find that he conducts himself well and respectfully, I don't think for one minute he would act maliciously in these circumstances, as such I am trying to give sound advice for future interactions.

I would invite you to do some research in to the legislation and that would clarify it for you, since my explanation is not sufficient in your mind.
@@BiGjD20 Well it's very well known that the police themselves, can't get the basics right. They are worse than the general population, they will make it up to suit. Then after said person is arrested, the seniors back at the station, will tell them what to charge said person of. Had it myself, whatever I was arrested for, didn't correspond with what I was charged with. Luckily, nothing happened, except a claim on my part, for them making up some bollox. We the public nowadays, just can't trust them. A million and one videos will confirm, in general, the police on the street don't know what they are doing.

I’ve grown up, worked, and lived not far away from here my entire life. Hanley is an utter dump. 15 years ago student nights on a Monday night were buzzing, now the place is totally dead and full of smack heads and usual suspects. I absolutely hate the place and avoid at all costs.

As soon as you start to film your journey through Stoke you come across a stabbing FFS ! Most of us who are lucky enough to live in calm well tailored streets, with a population that seems to behave, well,. some don't obvously, but overall I count myself very lucky to live in an area I adore and always have. 20 mins on the train to Waterloo and 5 mins down the road to the Surrey countryside. You show us what its like for (probably) the majority of folks and how they have to put up with it. Faced by a greedy evil (satanic) Govt of utter nonces and disinterest. Unless of course it is something to do with themselves, thats number 1 on the caring list. Thanks M8 God love and bless you.

I used to live in Hanley, where this happened, they were given millions to "level up", all that happened was some things got levelled (demolished) and fences built around the slab that was left. The rest of the money "went missing".

40 years ago, there was a group of us , rockers- heavy metal fans that hung around Hanley in the late 80s- we never did anything like this ! We’d hang around the woodman, tuns, lotus etc… but we didn’t stab anyone! At the time we were considered trouble makers for having long hair or wearing leather jackets but we didn’t stab people!
It’s a disgrace! There’s a lot of good people in Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Moorlands and Newcastle-under- Lyme , and we’ve got trouble makers ruining things for everyone, being violent and taking synthetic filth ruining their own lives and the lives closest to them!
People need more hobbies to occupy them, I’m being serious!
