i did everything you said and it still compresses it, i take my pictures from my mirrorless cam and transfer them to my phone and edit on lightroom mobile. after i’m done i export 1350 100% and post it on instagram, after 3 hours the picture i upload got compressed...what do i do?
Hey I found a app that's called Image compressor, Idk if it's on IPhone, but it's on Android. Do the same settings that's on the video and the quality will get definitely better.
Hi Dean, I don't have Lightroom classic and the new version doesn't have as many export settings as far as I can see. Every time I export and load into IG it looks pixilated and blotchy or something. What I see in LR doesn't translate well into IG.
How can one do the same things on lightroom app...bcoz the apo doesn't have option to choose both height n width...it just has one...n it doesn't size the other side as per the instagram 1350height n 1080width...so what do you do ?
Great tutorial, Dean! What about the vertical width&height? is it the reverse 1350x1080? Thanks man.
Yeah you’d just swap the numbers if you wanted a different orientation :)
Thanks for the reply man!

Same. Idk but it might be your internet. You can ask a friend to post it maybe on your ig.

Plus before you post your picture you can edit it on Instagram and give it a little Sharpness.

Make sure you stick to the 8x10 crop aspect ratio and it should work itself out mate
@@deanhindmarch_ theres no 8x10 only 8.5x11
8:10 is also known as 4:5!
@@deanhindmarch_ it still compresses
