If you know anyone in NC they’ll tell you the ride at Carowinds was better than that. The seats moved with the car, you had a theatre screen in front of you and you weaved in and out of cars to win the race. Then you pulled into victory lane.

I was raised on all of these movies. I didn’t really have any friends, so I watched movies a lot. I am from Denmark but took my pilot license in Florida in 2014. I became very emotional, but I pulled together my strength and smiled like a mad man. ❤
Can we all just admire how this movie is such an 80s/early 90s movie on so many levels (more rock oriented score with a lot of synth to back it up plus lots of hot pink and neon green) but still a legendary and underrated movie. There needs to be a sequel to this. As long as Top Gun: Maverick is good, I can't see a sequel for this not being awesome.
With Cole now as the team owner trying to work things out with a young driver, to which Cole see's aspects of himself from the first film, specifically the same lack of confidence after the accident that nearly killed him, but the kid has flashes of hidden talent but not the confidence to let it florish.
@@Sf_Mason Maybe the young driver could be Cole's son that he had with that hot doctor? Or maybe that would become too much of a family drama? Also, I'd like to see an appearance from Robert Duvall in there somewhere! Maybe if Cole needed some advice from an old-school guy? This is such a great and underrated score by Zimmer, I will always love his more rock/electric oriented soundtracks like this and Mission Impossible 2 the best

Absolutely AWESOME to hear this piece! I have two other versions of this incredible score - one of them has 29 tracks on it and THIS track is missing on both of them. I know this is like an 8 year old video but thank you for uploading this!
Hanz Zimmer has made many great tracks but this one is by far the greatest. And from what I know it's not even included in some versions of the Days of Thunder soundtrack... weird.
Dan, I was just commenting on this. I have TWO versions of the score CDs and this track isn't on either of them. I thought it was "Harry's Speech" originally but that is only like 2 minutes long. Then, I have this 29-track version of the score called "Expanded" but nope... this isn't on it. I happened to poking around UA-cam today for movie score stuff and came across this. Sooooo glad I did!
