This is a cool idea. It’s not for me, but I love the idea for someone who is dot-curious. Hopefully they take your feedback and make improvements to the design.
1:40 , we not gonna address where that bottom hole came from 😂 Kinda disappointed here was no optic flip, and landing it on the mount It is cool to see a company trying out something different and usable for optic mounting. And giving it a standard option across the board.
$215 MSRP for the magnetic RMR plate. It's cool to see innovation, but I just don't see this being useful - especially at that price point. If they were 1/5 the cost you could probably afford to have a rotation of QD pistol dots. At $215, you might as well buy an extra RMR cut slide.
Off topic question: if I'm already competing with an M&P 2.0 Core in IPSC Production Optics, is there any point in getting a Competitor in terms of hit factor or longevity?
Maybe this will lead to an inbetween solution. Some small QD-Mount added in the housing but I don't see who'd make that if they can sell more firearms and rds if they don't.
Those are Dillon Optics sunglasses, aren't they? I also have a pair. My dad works for Dillon Precision taking care of Steve's airplanes as part of that crew, so I got a nice discount on the sunglasses. Best sunglasses on the market in my opinion.
@@mightychoppa7625 What does that have to do with a magnet losing its charge due to an EMP. There’s tons of research and literature about EMPs, show me anything in there that demonstrates that EMPs affect magnets. Speculation is irrelevant.

Also 6061 aluminum. For that price, you would expect 7075 aluminum or 4140 steel.
Why would you want to rotate optics?
@@WearilyMistaken I wouldn't, but that's clearly what they're going for.

Shoot a match with it and see how it’s gonna go 🤞🏻
Props to the cameraman's booty zoom 😂
I wish I was surprised but I think it needs more refinement.
I love you too
Love grandpas 80’s shooting polo and my belt!
belt
2:38 Ricochet
You really are gonna science the crap outta this? I figured it would be *break* and move on.

How does someone win a belt ?
What pistol rest is that ?
he says it at the very beginning

Send me a pair.
That shirt made me miss Gun Thots videos.😪
yeah. no thanks. Companies need to stop creating solutions to problems we dont have
ITS COOL UNTIL A EMP BLAST DISABLES THE MAGNETIC MOUNT LMAO
I’ve never read any literature which says that EMPs affect magnets.
@EuropaChronicles if you leave a magnet sitting to long it'll lose its magnetic properties so you can do the math
