Martin, I'm glad to have you join us on Ian's fun group build. Lovely kit you chose for the project. I'm looking forward to seeing your build updates. Have fun Brother. Bill
Well you learn a new thing every day - I often use the phrase ‘let’s have a schuftie’ never realised it was based on Arabic for ‘have a closer look’! Great in-box review, regular treasure trove you have there! Australian version ‘M‘ for Martin, spot on, looking forward to what you do. Dave
There's been a few Arabian women I've seen in my life that I always wanted a "Schuftie" at....those dark eyes, the olive skin and the black hair, oh my! Thanks for watching Dave, much appreciated! Have a great week! Cheers : )
I've got a number of ARII kits. Mostly Japanese fighters. All nicely detailed, I was very surprised. I purchased them because at the time they were the only ones putting out the rare Japanese fighters. Then Hase came along and caught up. Good luck with the P-40, another often forgotten fighter that deserves more credit than it gets.
Hey Bob, yes, they're very nicely detailed, and I'm now thinking I'll more than likely use the ARII kit, because of the nice fine recessed panel lines and rivet details...that'll save me having to rescribe the Monogram kit. Cheers : )
That's the kind of box I'd love to open, Martin! Three different kits to choose the best parts from and staple them together! She's a beautiful aircraft. Good luck and have a great Sunday! Cheers :)
I'm good Martin.... Just been keeping a low profile. It's been a pretty long winter over here so trying to secure some work. I still somehow find the money to add to the stash! Think I will have to put out a little update vid some time. Planning on building a 1/48 A-26 invader for my summer project. Cheers buddy ✌️
Hey Jim, glad to hear you're good, and like you, we've experienced a long winter this year, with the snow falling from mid November to mid April! Oh...I love the A-26 Invader and the Intruders...have them in my stash, too....can't wait to see what you do with your build. Have fun with it when you get around to it! Good luck securing work! Cheers : )
You're welcome. I think instead of using the Monogram kit, which is raised panel lines, I'll build one of the other two kits which both have fine recessed panel lines, then I don't have to spend time re-scribing : )
Hello Sir , I know its been 3 yrs already since you had a review of the P-40E warhawk pro modeler. Do still have the copy of the manual for the P40E pro modeler.pls if you have my was damage.thank you and have a good day.
I've built a number of Pro-Modeler kits and they've all been very good and enjoyable builds. Revell kits by Revell USA....some of their kits are terrible, but, Revell kits by Revell of Germany (GmbH) are so much better than the USA kits....I've built a few of those, too, and really enjoyed them. Cheers : )
The Revell USA kits do here in the USA. The Germany manufactured Revell are in the Blue Boxes and the small print on the side will say Revell GmbH....which is Germany. Revell GmbH are now using the black boxes, so anything in the black or blue boxes are Revell Germany.

Yes, Freddy does this regularly with kits he sends to people...fills the box with two or three versions of the aircraft! Cheers : )
Interesting selection of P-40's mate. Good luck the the builds including the Tempest. Jim out....

Great looking kit, I like the P-40, one of the few planes I built as a kid, :)
Cool....you should build more airplane kits to go with your Zero! Cheers : )
Very good. Nice looking kit(s).
Thanks for the shout out.

ARII kits weren't too bad,early japanese company!🤔
Jman👀
It's a nicely detailed kit, the ARII one, it comes with an engine, too. : )
I've seen the pro modeler stuff before but are they better than normal revell or marketing ?

International British Modeler do they say revell USA on the box or ...?
