It really takes a person who is skilled on both inputs from BEFORE Warzone 1 to give a fair examination of how unfair overpowered robotracking aim assist is.

It shows the top 1% controller vs mouse, and the average player accuracy..

Should be input based matchmaking. Add a toggle like how we have a toggle for crossplay. That will solve most of the problems.

The solution to this, is input based matchmaking... simple. I play both inputs, but only really play Cod on console still, I play other PC games with Kbm. Cod was always built for controller, Cod originated on PC but so did most other FPS games. However Kbm has a place, and frankly will always have the native advantage over controller just cause of the freedom of mouse vs thumbstick, but the auto rotate aim assist is the problem, nerf or flatout remove that and it will be a lot better. Aim assist should only be a small slowdown to help guide you as you aim, not aim for you.
Here's the thing: I'm not much younger than the Two Time. But I play MnK. And, to be real, I am not in the same UNIVERSE of physical fitness as he. But I can still compete. And he could, if he wanted to. He says motivating things like, "getting... better... every... DAY". I'm not saying he isn't, but I can say that I actually AM.
MnK isn't lost in COD - though the development practices are questionable for these high level "competitive" games as far as fairness (please please please COD community start learning and screaming about TICKRATE - here Doc's 💯, and server regions), I submit that the playing field for controllability is more level than is complained about. It's not fair - but it's competitive. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. The real problems are the networking, inconsistent sound, hitreg, etc.
He's a streamer/content creator- his JOB is to shout opinions loudly in order to provoke attention to the discussion. And that's what he's doing. He only has half the story, but he isn't necessarily wrong, isn't wholly right - in my OPINION.

They need to implement the search based on the peripheral plug in device. If I'm on PC and have a controller plugged in I should be getting paired with all controller players only, regardless of whether it be console or PC players. The moment I unplug the controller, I should be getting paired with keyboard players only, regardless of whether it's on PC or console (if I'm not mistaken there are ways to use keyboard and mouse on console but I think it's a rarity). This should be a simple implementation into matchmaking and I'm not sure why this has not been done yet.

You also have a choice of whether you play mouse and key or controller only, the price to move to a controller is not prohibitive. However, when we talk console vs. PC and all the additional advantages a PC brings where the cost of playing on a PC for a casual can be prohibitive, I think that's way more of a discussion to be had.

Controller players would love that, because they hate a good mnk player. It has been said before, by some of the greats, aim assist is op, the reason why mnk feels so bad sometimes is because of that, and the servers. Both should be addressed!

Ngl i used to cry about controller aim assist but now i just subscribe to a cheat provider but still lose nose to nose gun fights even when using 90% aimbot settings. Things are kinda level now though

Because possibly it would eliminate that and randomized lobbies filled with bad/decent/good/god tier players all join into one now....cause...you know...no one wants a unmanipulated game at all...we need that manipulation to feel good about ourselves in our safe space so we can purchase tellytubby bundles to showcase when we win

Just take out aim assist, I enjoy playing crossplay with my nephews, but nerf aim assist and make it to where you actually have to be good at aiming or remove aim assist all together.

No. Competitive should however, be separated into aim assisted and non aim assisted as aim assist always gives an advantage over those who do not use aim assisted technology and anyone who disagrees does not know what aim assist is or how it functions, and definitely should not be playing competitive multiplayer games because they do not understand that aim assist is doing the work for them.
Well that why their cross play turn off button but lot people want play with freinds. Cuz other people play other platforms.
I think splitting the player base by console and PC would be good. And by that I mean if your also PC with a controller your still PC becuz of all the enhancements you get.

The only way we would know who really has the advantage is to first get rid of all of the hackers with there soft aim bots and wall hacks. When the playing field is level for everyone then we can make an assessment as to who has the advantage.

When cod 4 came out we had custom servers and.l life was great as a mouse and keyboard player they say there is not enough MnK players for separate lobbies but I think there full of crap

@@mybstlags6281 I stopped playing because of aimassist. Gave away my console and PC. Played m+k and tried controller also. After I've felt the difference I made this decision.
I still play CoD but mobile and it's just as bad as pc or console when it comes to aimassist. It's basically point and click.

He's just saying it's made extra tough on keyboard for no reason and aim assist is way overpowered and they're just needs to be a balance. but most people can't understand what keyboard players are talking about unless they've played on it throughout the game updates that destroy most of the ability to enjoy it.

I can understand Docs frustration with this game due to the crappy servers and instability. The mouse and keyboard disadvantages for average to above average players are probably there but look at elite level players like Huskers and Metaphor. And no they’re not cheaters cupcakes.
