Big Cities like Guadalajara and Mexico City, they are super queer! Like western Europe queer 🌈 super accepting and it's as liberal as Canada in LBGTQ mattters, gay marriage is legal in all the country btw. Medium cities they are queer also and can be super attractions for queer people like Puerto Vallarta and queretaro or the coastal party towns like Cancun area. Small towns are where you got to be careful they are way more conservative and I wouldn't travel there, same in the small towns villages in the south , it's dangerous to be queer there.
I recognize a foo that is very homophobic there aswell. Almost all the homophobic people are closeted gays, they're mad because they're unable to live free.
