Wow there's so much else to do in this game. Even though the story is very short you have all these missions, over 200 items to collect, wifi missions and unlockable characters. There's certainly a lot more pack into this than Unleashed. I might be playing this for a while.
Sonic's 20th anniversary - better be some kick ass games that come out this year. Also it's Shadow's 10th aniversary so SEGA needs to do something about that too :D
I actually think it's nice that Sega is trying out a few new things with Sonic. Unleashed actually looks pretty fun and I'm thinking of buying it. Just because they decide to experiment with the gameplay a bit doesn't automatically make a game bad. I mean, look how much Nintendo's experimented with and expanded upon Mario over the past 12 years or so. I actually think the Storybook concept that Sega's been working on with Secret Rings and Black Knight is pretty interesting.
Anybody know what we get exactly for 5 stars on missions? The subjects are Developer Data and Voice Interviews or something..? is it worth busting my ass for cuz getting 5 stars is hard, obviously..
this game is so untraditional to sonic. you get chests instead of item bubbles. there are no springs, dash pads, pullies, or egg man. And what about the chaos emeralds? i don't even see rings, so does that mean no ring dashes? at least there are rails and good graphics. why did they mess with the camera so much, sonic & bk, sonic & SR, Unleashed all have cameras that seem so stiffly behind sonic, unlike in sonic adventure (dream cast/GC) or SA2 Battle... i h8 the new cameras
If those are your reasons to critiquize this game, I hope you don´t say unleashed is good then because that is even more untraditional, killing all of the classic elements including the item bubbles and making the stages like on-foot raceways.

you're good cyberman! took me like, three tries to get 5 stars on the defeat 50 enemies in a row mission.
they make very good use of the levels space in this game ^^
Press B to enter Soul Surge.
Then, whilst targeting a "blue orb" (Will o' Wisp), shake the Nunchuck to perfom a kick.
That will defeat them.

ah my favourite mission is the chain of enemies mission that u showed 1st gotta love it as it also gives u a medal the 50 enemy kill badge

You have to flick the nunchuck down while your doing the soul surge to kick them

the most impossibole mission is molten mine get to the goal in time number 2! its glitched
