The collaboration between Dead Poet Society and The Warning on Hurt started pretty organically. It all kicked off when Dany, Pau, and Ale were working on Keep Me Fed with producer Anton DeLost, who also produced Dead Poet Society’s album Fission. When Hurt dropped, they heard it in the studio and instantly became fans, even congratulating Anton on the track’s success. Then came Shiprocked, where the two bands first met. Pau was seen singing along to Hurt on social media, and Dead Poet Society noticed. They got to hear the song live for the first time, which only made them more excited about it. Jack Underkofler had been meaning to reach out to The Warning for a while about collaborating but kept forgetting to send the message. Finally, the day before Aftershock, he messaged Ale via Instagram to see if any of them wanted to perform Hurt with the band on stage. Pau immediately responded, saying she would love to. That performance brought everything together, and both bands started talking about recording a version together. This led to the new studio version, released in December, which blends the best of both bands. Dead Poet Society handles the instrumentals, keeping the same arrangement as the original, while Jack, Pau, and Dany trade off lead vocals, with Dany, Pau, and Ale adding backing vocals. Then, as you saw, Dany and Pau joined Dead Poet Society on on stage in Mexico City on January 10
gonna watch anything related to The Warning you decide to react to no matter how deep you go for sure, vlogs, interviews, dany playing yellow submarine, it dont matter, i'll be here!, thanks for sharing,
This banger song reached #11 on the Billboard US Mainstream Rock chart. Both Dead Poet Society and The Warning picked up a nice chunk of streams on Spotify, too. I think the "tuning" they were doing in the video was just a delaying tactic waiting for Dany and Pau to get close to the stage. There are quite a few fan cams like this one on YT, but I'm not aware of any official clip being posted yet. I wouldn't be surprised if the teams for DPS and/or TW post one soon enough.
The only "official" one I'e seen so far was posted on the Warning's IG but it was shot with a phone (and live-streamed during the show). Hopefully there's something better because they killed it.
Hell yeah, we'll watch! Their story of how they got to where they are is a big reason why TWA is so passionate about them. Even though most of us have seen all the "behind the scenes" stuff too many times to count, t's always fun watching other people see it for the first time. I have to caution you though, you're gonna love them even more! ⚡🤘
I would check them out. I think first, you should check out the studio version of this song w/ TW first, it's killer. But yea, DPS is a damn good band.
Fun fact: DPS formed when they were students at the Berklee College of Music around the same time that The Warning attended the summer program there (2015). 😎👍
There is 4 different versions of this collab now online. Also a lot of interview and BTS content very interesting to watch of TheWARNING.At the end of this video the crowd yelling for THEWarning was insane this was a DPS show and TW stepped in for this collab .
You've done a ton of reactions to The Warning, it would be fun and informative to do one of the short documentaries. Tidal Rising is a good one, only 20 minutes but it feels like 10. You get their story in their own words, it ends before they started touring after the pandemic, but after they finished recording Error, so it's full of early info.
I’ll throw in my 2 cents… I’m not a fan of marathon reactions / full concerts. I have to be in a certain mood to dedicate that much time. I much prefer 1-2 songs at a time. But that’s just me.
DPS re-released their single of this tune with vocals by TW. DPS lead singer has a high voice so it's kind of fun trying to pick out the individual singers. ua-cam.com/video/XfoxoupbFps/v-deo.html
With regard to doing a live show, I think more people can watch if you break it up. Even as huge fans, it's hard to have a big block of time. If you break it into maybe 3 song segments that will get more people watching. Obviously, you can film it all in one chunk and then post multiple segments, but 15-20 minute segments are easier to start and finish.

When the girls were seen entering the venue you thought the Beatles had shown up. The screams were insane.

👍👍 !!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
There are a few better recordings of this show available. I think audio-wise, that may have been the worst one. 🙂

Lunario First
I found this version that I think is very good quality for a cell phone video.
