An Affluent Suburb With A Rural Feel: Campton Hills, Illinois 5K.

- Campton Hills might be one of the best places to live in Illinois, and it's definitely one of the safest. Campton Hills was established as a village very recently in 2007. The village limits spread out quite a ways however it's sparsely populated. The village is made up of affluent residential subdivisions, divided by agricultural fields, woods, horse farms and other verities of rural terrain.

Lived here a few years now and love it! Not all of it is fancy subdivisions though. There are plenty of small old houses on big lots with old boats, RV's, cars, etc laying in front yards

Enjoy your cool new intro. Sending you a warm welcome to come do a tour of my new hometown of Princeton, Il ("city of [old] homes") We just moved here from overseas and bought a well preserved historic old house for less than we would have paid for an apartment in any major city - but we're still 2 hours from Chicago by train or car. We love the beautiful countryside around the city which is similar to what I see in this video, and it's a great community with basically no crime either.

A lot of these poor people don't even have sidewalks. I too can imagine them sitting with their friends in their backyard sipping Mountain Dew.

I’ll take 7-up rather than wine. 🤮. I once worked as a bagger in a supermarket and I had enough bottles of wine drop out of my hands and break on the floor in front of me. The mere odor of the wine makes me sick, I didn’t know it at the time but I had repetitive motion injury from my other job I had at the time, (carpal tunnel syndrome )

@Glenn Lego, not really, I live 10 mins south of here and the houses aren’t as great as my town but there is houses that are over 3 million here but they have an elementary school and high school is in St Charles but I don’t think many kids here go to a private school. My cousin lives here in a neighborhood the size of a small town, right off of rt 64 and most of those kids go to the school in that neighborhood or the one more in downtown area
You get east of Randall rd and near Elgin and aurora it’s absolutely disgusting. Pingree grove subdivision is like little Mexico. I say west of route 47 is really nice.
