@@movieswithmatticus5469 The movie is ruined because of the Anakin/Padmé scenes? Get over it bro. It's not even that bad compared the majority of tv shows throughout the years

The AOTC is a weird movie. It is definitely not a stand alone movie because if I showed to someone who has never seen Star Wars, they would probably be very confused. AOTC is almost entirely about the plot and that’s why I enjoy watching it. This movie sets up the downfall of Anakin in the clone wars and the best Star Wars movie, ROTS.
It's really sad that George isn't directing anymore. He might not be the greatest director of all time, but his movies always deliver something special and new. That's very rare with nowaday's blockbusters. greetings from germany :-)

He really changed how films are made today. For bigger films that I know are not able to be shot till later, I do crude animatics in Blender for the action scenes. It helps so much when you actually get boots on the set/location. George really did influence me to work that way today.
Seemed like Kathleen Kennedy just loved to take a hot steamy shit all over star wars. It was obvious through all the sequels contradictions, these movies never wanted to tell a story. Just take your money.
This is so incredible George Lucas and ILM were so ahead of their time it just shows how incredible the prequels really were. This really makes me sad and mad because how George was treated by the prequel hate mob and it makes me think of what a sequel trilogy would look like if George never sold star wars to disney and ILM were behind it but no all we got was garbage and I don't just say that out of spit but facts, the sequel trilogy is inferior to the prequel trilogy.

Yeah there was no vision with the sequel trilogy. Just a rehash of the same story beats we've already seen. I think it was in that Charlie Rose interview, George said Hollywood tends to be afraid of creativity because being creative means facing the inevitable. Whereas creating something familiar and recognizable is safe, which is how we got ep 7,8 and 9.
