It’s based on actual history of a Viking chief who tries to go for peace instead of war. It’s about Magnus Erlendsson, the earl of Orkney, and it’s based on Icelandic sagas. So, not really fantasy-based, though the outfits and styling owes something to Game of Thrones.

And you didn't offend me - I was laughing so hard seeing this because we are like polar opposite about this. Fun fact about the song: in the Danish contest they used our flag (the Danish one) instead of the white, because its not allowed to bring your flag on stage at Eurovision (only allowed when you are presented and I bet if you win). you do know that braveheart is based on real story right ;) , this song has heavy celtic / folk influence which is often used in eurovision which is really hit and miss with the audience , this isnt one of my favourite eurovision songs like the danish song this year or last year wasnt either but its far from the worst we ( denmark) ever sent. its fine you dont like a song , reactors that like everything they hear are a bit hard to believe.
