EXACTLY. These Invictas are great and there are no legitimate comparisons for the 23K Gold plated (and Blue) 8930BO. It's Handsome and the bracelet is GREAT, if not heavy, which I still see as a plus. Mine doesn't rattle like he coerced his sample into doing, but if it did, it'd still make no difference. Never once has it failed, never once has it popped open and I've owned three of them for MANY years. Frankly, the securing mechanism is tighter than the "hotsy-totsier" Phoibos I just received. Now I dig my Quartz PX002C quite a lot, but here's my problem with it: I'm still trying to figure out if the new, improved lume is Green or Blue. If the BGW9 Super-Luminova is actually Blue, I have to send it back and insist on the newest version. I'm concerned that I got hosed with the Octopi adorned albeit old lume version IF such a thing exists. (If not, just let me know, TIA.) I get mixed messages from Phoibos. But I can't implicitly trust every YT review either. If somebody can help me out with this, I'd appreciate it. I have ascertained that the PX002C has an Aluminum Bezel, which I'm fine with on this Invicta or the Phoibos. But if I cough up three Benjamins for a PY007, that puppy's lume had better be at LEAST as bright as this watch or brighter. Again, mine is Green. Phoibos says all their watches have Green Lume. But some of their illustrations are just...plain...blue. Thanks again, everyone.
@@TheAverageTargaryen They're both great bargains. I've owned a Submariner and the ratio of "get what you pay for" isn't totally absent but isn't the linear progression that the conspicuous consumption crowd wishes it was. By the time you get to that watch, there's no rational way to justify its ownership OTHER than conspicuous consumption. Which isn't against the law, but the reason I could (and still can) afford the Submariner is because I choose not to do so (again). One's enough. And so it goes. You didn't offer any helpful advice about the Phoibos, so I'm not sure you have the experience level with any of these watches that would appear to have a basis in ownership. I do with all of them. Have a great day...
I have the feeling people only hate on ''cheap'' watches because they are cheap. I pay about 19.900$ more for a rolex, for what benefits exactly? Yes, for the only benefit to say ''i own a rolex''. If you arent arrogant, any watch that you like is enough.
I have had mine for now almost two years, and it hasn’t missed a beat. I exercise and swim in it every day too. A couple of scratches on it now but still does the job.
@@patrickhenry948 Same here. I've been buying these since they first brought them out...They just go and go...I don't know about all that other imported China stuff, he has up there...I know the 8926 is solid....I'm betting a lot more solid then that other stuff.
@@eatmelily I love my Invictas, I have six ....3 quartz and 3 automatics, ...they keep accurate time and are bullet proof. Some of the watches made in China, .......they make the case, face, hands, band, etc, then they import a Seiko movements from Japan and place them inside. I've seen good reviews on UA-cam ...........you get a great price and basically it's a Seiko with Seiko reliability.
A couple of weeks ago I was wearing it at an international show where a Submariner owner mistakenly expressed his appreciation of it to only be disappointed by me pointing at the brand of the watch along with the mention I would never pay ten grand for a stainless steel watch. That made my day. 😜😈😈😂😂😂
You will never be selling a ten grand stainless steel watch for 20k then 😜😈😈😂😂😂 Submariner guy sounds a knob though. I certainly would not have said that to you.
Yeah. I could see at Max paying 1k for a watch give or take a little. Even that is ridiculous. Doesn't even make me coffee in the morning. Doesn't start my car. It just tells me the time.
I'm a watch guy, I have several vintage Hamiltons and Seikos in my collection. My father gifted me a very handsom Invicta Pro-diver in a gold finish and I wear it proudly very often. I'll admit I used to trash Invicta for their 48 and 50mm watches. However, my pro-diver is on par with my Seiko SKX. I respect the company for what it is, a gateway for future watch collectors and for people with tighter budgets who want a quality watch!
I feel what you're saying but keep in mind that no everyone can wear a 40mm watch without it looking ridiculous. My wrist is 40mm tall and 60mm wide which means that the Pro Diver looks like a kiddie watch on my wrist. The 47mm Grand Diver fits perfectly so that's what I own. I wouldn't look at anything else from Invicta though. They're mostly horrible-looking watches which makes it funny how their divers are so well-specced and beautiful.
@@AvroBellow44 to 47 mm is my personal sweet spot. Anything above or below looks crazy to me. Lastly, i wish i learned the difference between a pro and grand diver before i started. Even when both are 47mm, the grand diver is double the weight.
I have an older 8926OB with the Myota movement, I wore it every day for 10 years and that included work, the beach, the pool, working on the yard...etc. Never let me down and still keeps good time. Definitely worth the 80 bucks I paid for it.....
@DJ Ezasscul trust me just buy a Seiko 5 or lower end Seiko Prospex (Prospex line runs from $300-$6,000) for your next one. Would recommend the turtle, mini turtle, or dress-kx (srpe55)
I bought one of these basically new off a guy from Craigslist. He was selling for $40 which was already a good deal but I offered $30 and he accepted. What's great is that he actually sold me the one with a slightly different dial which cost more that the regular version. I also did not like the polished center links so I brushed them out with a scotch-brite pad and now it looks way better.
A few years ago my grandfather gave me his pro diver from 2007 as a gift. It has been diving, survived bike crashes, snowboard crashes, skateboard crashes, and is my go-to beater watch and it’s still going strong. It has even survived a skateboard crash so intense that I sprained my wrist under the watch but the watch was completely fine. Only scratched the crystal. Needless to say, it is a very resilient watch.
Ian Smith Try modding it’s lot’s of fun and very rewarding I did a invicta pro diver I put a new face and hands and a besel insert on mine and even filed the deep branding off of the side of the case it came out very good with no experience at all , just UA-cam videos on modding invicta 2926 my dad has been wearing it for 4 years now
They also get crap for the msrp being way higher than it would ever be sold for. But I love orient and they are very guilty of that same practice. The msrp for the bambino is like 200-250 (I forgot how much I just remember thinking it was ridiculous when I have 1 for under 100
I'm a college student currently working as a GST at Pep Boys. Love this little watch. It's oil-proof too! Has held up very well. Looks a lot less cheap as it wears. It can take a beating :) & the bezel is great for timing short jobs
I got mine for $45 a couple years back on an Amazon sale as one of my first few automatics. It eventually turned into a modding project that has made it one of my favorites to wear. Highly recommend for anyone looking to dabble in modding on something cheap and easy to find dials, hands, etc. for.
I have this one and it is a great beater. Paid around $70 about 3 years ago and it keeps great time. No issues at all. Took it off bracelet and put on nato straps. I get compliments all the time.
I just bought an Invicta Pro Diver with the blue dial and I'm really enjoying it. Did I buy it because I want people to think its a Rolex, NO. Its a fantastic casual daily wear.
Pro Divers are awesome , I own 2 of them , one is 25 years old and it has never been serviced however it runs like a new watch , they deserve a better lume , same as Casios .
I've had one of these for a few years. Decent quality at the price point. I've been happy with it. As soon as I get my Ginault, though, the Invicta will turn into my beater 'Sub'.
I bought my first Invicta pro diver in 2014. Still working and I have been rough on it. Just purchased 3 more Invictas recently and am pleased with the quality, look and feel for a reasonably priced watch. For the price, it can't be beat.
I don't care at all for Invicta stuff but this video is excellent. Perfect example of why I love your channel. Elaborate on the specs, the price/value, the subjective elements, and it's place in the market. Keep up the excellent work!
Love my Invicta Pro Diver watch. So many Aholes comparing to their RLX. It really is a great great watch for the price. Still drives people so crazy!!!
A Scottish accent really makes these videos ten times better....... I always wish I was born in Scotland so I had a buttery smooth roll over my words. Just bought a two tone silver and gold version of this after years of wanting to get one, super excited. Thanks for your videos JOMW.
I must say that my all time favorite watch is my Invicta S1 Rally with the orange dial. I love it and I still get great comments about it when I wear it!!!
I got my invicta about 5 years ago and its still going strong. Actually gets more wrist time than any of my other high end watches. Can't believe you didn't mention how cool those wings on the second hand look. Mines doesn't have that yellow rotor though. Great review though.
I’ve got one in my collection. I have the two tone with scalloped bezel. I got mine several years ago, and it has performed flawlessly. There’s a reason this is one of their top sellers. The watch is an amazing bargain, solid reliable movement, and is built quite well for the price. My primary issue with Invicta is the case sizes on most of their line. They’re just too damn big and heavy!
The company was Top Shelf when it was owned by The Picard Family in Switzerland. Then the Invicta watch company was purchased in 1991 and you get the company that you see today?
@@davenolan5709 Same thing happened to Pulsar-- although, thankfully, Seiko hasn't allowed that brand to lose as much "credibility" that Invicta has with their 'gold monstrosities' being sold in bulk on QVC...
@@jmmartin7766Bottom line, whatever brand gets someone interested in watches...great. To each their own. Everyone has to start and learn from somewhere. If you are going to trash Invicta, at least get your facts straight. They don't sell on QVC; they sell on Evine which has now gone back to its previous name of ShopHQ.

Lord, son... lol For your edification-- I've actually owned an Invicta pro-diver & I actually liked the watch. I did end up selling it, but for reasons unrelated to the watch's quality. Fact is, though, because that company has chosen to do business the way they do, they have tarnished their rep within the watch community. All you gotta to to understand that is watch a few videos on the subject... You have a nice day now... lol
I own two of these and both are ten years old with the older Miyota non hacking movement. They have been very reliable and keep great time. So as a starter watch or beater I say go for it , if the price is right. PS really enjoy 😊 your reviews.Cheers.
@Zoran ha! no parts at all from China? better get out a few dozen $100 bills, and even then that's not likely. the first time you'll see a guarantee of no Chinese parts at all is haute horology
@@HH60gPaveHawk but there's an option in Seiko SKX made in Japan or only Japan movement and assembled in China. But there's no difference between them, only tiny words "made in Japan" other than just "7s26" and some numbers. Also a "Japan" word on the caseback.
I have a Invicta pro diver. It's been.great! Seiko movement, display back, nice bezel function and reliable. For around $100 Canadian you can't really go wrong. I recommend them! Nice review as always!
I have several in different colors and everyone works great! I even have an Invicta Speedway from 2002 and it still works great. People who crap on Invicta have no idea about Invicta, but I think more over they're just mad that my white faced Speedway looks almost identical to A Daytona they own and paid $26,000 for it while I paid like $120.00
Its a great watch for the price point which is typically around $75. I picked mine, the blue two tone with the coin edge bezel, for under $50 and so it was definitely a bargain as even Seiko does not offer watches with their NH35 at this price point. I do not understand people's complaint about the bracelet, esp that it is only a pressed clasp and no solid end links; given the price I am surprised it even comes with the steel bracelet. Honestly, I've so far never had problems with either of these. I'v had mine for over 2 years now and its taken its fair share of nicks and scuffs, but it still runs great around 6-8 seconds per day and I am plenty happy with it. It is one of my top picks when I go on a vacation as I would not worry much if it were to get stolen or misplaced and it suits almost all occasions, be it formal or casual or at the beach. Probably the best value for money in my collection.
I love my pro diver. I faded the bezel to give it sort of a vintage vibe and I use it as a tool watch when Im not wearing my G-Shock. I'm taking it to the beach today and don't have to worry about it.
I have to totally agree, in the $55-65 range there isn't anything else worth looking at; but it is thick and while you can replace the bracelet that just pushes the price up to better choices
Just got mine, went with pre-owned; came with the psuedo pelican case and complete shrink wrapped. Cant complain $72 and its not evident its been used that I can find at least. Great video, thanks for posting!👍
It's a Flame Fusion Crystal. They don't get scratched up and I have 12 different Invictas for past 6 years to back that up. I go back and forth between 2 that I wear to work a week at a time and they are both still perfect. One is a all gold bracelet with blue dial 40mm Pro Diver. Treasures!
Bought one of these nearly two years ago and I really like it. I wear it all the time and it keeps great time. Paid £89 UK on Amazon from a USA dealer including postage. I bought an Orient Blue Ray II at the same time for around £120 UK. Really like the Orient too but don't wear it as much as the Black dialed Invicta.
I bought an invicta chrono quartz for $69 in vegas with a blue sunburst dial about 8 years ago. Not outlandish or garish at all and gets more compliments than anything else I own. Crazy.
Mine arrived today and there's a lot to like, a nice finish, way more wearable than the grand diver and a great movement. The only negative is that the cyclops is off-centre and sits low. In some respects this actually works better as the viewing angle is spot on when reading the face on my wrist.
I have two of these. One black like the one in the video and another with the blue and red bezel (Pepsi style I think some call it). Not only are they unbeatable in value for money but especially the Pepsi style is a real eye catching when I am on the beach lying sunbathing. I don't think a single guy passes by who doesn't take a look at it. Naturally this does not make it a better watch, but it is very attractive. Best regards
I had this watch for about 4 years as a beater and I really beat the hell out of it. For the price it is a great watch. The NH35 movement is the exact same movement found in the Seiko Presage that retails for $500. So getting that movement in a $70 watch with a steel bracelet is fantastic. And getting it in a dive watch tribute is even better. Okay, so I HATE the brand name plastered all over the watch, especially on side of the case. That makes it look trashy and cheap. But I never hated it enough to grind it off and re-polish. It’s a beater, I wear it while working on my car or using the weedeater or mowing the lawn. I wear it to tell time, not to attract women. If I’m going out then I’ll wear a Seiko King Turtle or Rolex Air King or ORIS Big Crown or something from Omega. The Invicta keeps those watches looking great because it takes all the abuse so they don’t have to. And for that purpose alone it’s worth every penny I paid for it.
I own one of these. I honestly have no problems from it. The watch I bought used and it has not dissapointed me at all. It does what I expect of it. It does it efficiently and frankly don't care much for what others think. The buck stops with me and not them LOL. Like it... buy it... wear it.
Ive had an early 40mm Automatic for over a decade now and it keeps time perfectly. I broke the band getting on a trampoline at a NYE party so its been sitting for months as Ive moved on to antique pocketwatches but that little Invicta is still my favorite wrist watch. I paid 15 dollars for it at a fleamarket watch shop.
I have 3 of these watches, 1 all stainless Black Dial, 2 Blue face, two tone Stainless & Gold. I have had them for 10 years or so. They still run and keep time like new. Several friends saw mine and got one or two for themselves. Same story still going strong after 10 years. Can't beat them for the $80 ea, I spent 10 years ago.
I’ve had 2 of these for over 12 months, including a Popeye version😉💪🏼 They both look great & keep brilliant time! Yes look for the sales as they will vary greatly. For the money👍🏼
I've seen some pictures of the Popeye, as the time changes it looks like he's swinging his pants John Travolta style, made me smile big time....looked really cool....⌚🏴⌚🏴
Brian Colyer I haven’t seen that one but it sounds cool. I’ve just got the one with a small Popeye portrait on the left side of the dial. A little understated. I got it simply because as a kid growing up here in Oz he was one of my favourite cartoon characters. Plus my dear mum would always say “If you eat your spinach you’ll have muscles like Popeye!” As kids we are soooo gullible!!🤪👍🏻🤣
I use mine going MTB riding. It's my do-all watch, I travel with it, I work with it, and I do sports with it. I was really expecting its little Seiko heart to give out after hitting a lengthy downhill washboard gravel stretch but it still powers through as accurately as it did before. I did put it on a NATO strap. I recently bought two Invicta 1948's with a broken crystal and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by the watches. They were dirt cheap, have a reasonably original design (not as brash as many Invictas are), and come with the Swiss Made ETA 2824-2 clone, the Sellita SW200. I'm still waiting on parts but I'm excited to wear them!
It’s not for me, but for the millions who can’t afford a Rolex, why not? Great specs and it’s an auto diver. If people enjoy it and it brings them happiness, then power to them! 😁 Great review as always
I got it more or less by accident for christmas :D - put it into my wishlist along with a few seikos, and my parents bought the invicta. But, it started a little starting love for watches, for me. I am still in the low budget area, but currently i am looking for an smaller dress watch around 200 € and when I am done with my studies and when I have a good job, I certainly will buy some more expensive pieces, if I find any I really really like.
So to make a positive statement.. I have been wearing this watch since mid 2021... for the results!!! This watch will hold/keep time for atleast 72 hrs. That being said.. the Japanese movement is impeccable. After beating this watch during my average work day in a manufacturing environment. It still wears and works well. However, I have replaced the wrist strap twice. Leather straps always wears nicely with a genuine classy look. After wearing Omega Seamaster Pro 300 and other dive watches for years. This sub is definitely In a class of its own. Thank you for all of you in depth reviews and keeping true to your heteriage. Keep stuck in
@@JustOneMoreWatch but don't call that "copying of Rolex design", 6:05 . The first watch to have that design was Blancpain's Fifty Fanthoms model. Rolex copied them very quickly. The only thing Rolex ever 'designed' was the Mercedes hand, which is also just a bit changed 'cathedral' hand used massively in military watches decades before that.
I have had my Red faced Diver for 10+ years and still awesome, have replaced about a battery per year (maybe longer), but it is still my favorite watch, I only paid about 60 bucks from Overstock and shows very little wear.
Nice one Jody. Been collecting in my modest way for about 18 months now at the bottom end of the spectrum my most expensive piece being my Seiko Alpinist. I have quite a number of Invictas the Gold and black pro diver similar to the one you have reviewed and I know they are very devicive with in the watch community but to be honest mine as far as quality is concerned have been great and I have had no problems at all with them. My favourites being 2 solid Bronze producers I purchased fro e bay for £150 each. I agree that Lorio is a terrific buy and I can't take mine off I love it.😊. All the best. Darren.
I did purchase this exact watch. I've been in the ocean and fresh water with it. It's a sharp watch. Completely waterproof...and I love it! I get compliments on it regularly. That being said... comparing this watch in quality against a Sub is ludacris. They do look almost identical at several ft. away. That being said ...a Sub is the pinnacle of watch quality...this is a $90 watch. There is zero comparison in quality. However, for those who can't or won't spend an average of $9000 on a watch but like the look and want a fully functional and reliable piece... the Pro Diver is for you. I've been 30ft+ under water with it many times. Zero issues.
I had one of these Invicta's about a year ago. Swapped the rattly bracelet for a NATO and loved the watch. I somehow lost it in the house. You would not believe how many times I have torn the house upside down trying to find it. I recon a workman/cleaner knicked it!
Love this watch. Wear it every day. However, the screw down crown stripped out after about 2 years. I had it repaired for about the cost of a replacement watch and it lasted another 2 years. Now I use it without being able to screw down the crown. It would be cheaper just to buy another than to repair it again.
Great video Jody. Nice to see an honest review of a low end watch, rather than just dismissing it as a "fake" because it dares to resemble the brand leader in watches 👍
Imagine there is a table in front of you with 3 watches. The branding has been removed from them. The one on the left is a quartz watch and made with cheap brass, with a painted gold finish, the face has bad printing, the crystal is plastic, It claims water resistance 10M. but has no gasket for the crown. It feels light and cheap and the band looks like leather on the outside, but the inside looks like some kind of treated paper that is sandwiched and glued together. The watch in the middle is made of stainless steel with a mineral crystal, Rated to 200Meters, The movement is automatic and with your naked eyes you cannot see any imperfections, it feels solid and well made. The watch on the right is also stainless steel with a sapphire crystal and automatic movement. It is rated to 300M. It feels solid and well made, you can see the second hand moves a bit smoother, and the band feels more robust, It also appears to be very well made. Somebody asks you to place the watch in the middle of the table where it falls in the quality category between the watch on the left and right. You will probably place it nearby the watch on the right. The watch on the left is a $10. Timex. The watch in the middle is a $80 Invicta, the watch on the right is a $12000. Rolex. Based on dollars alone, the Invicta should be at the far left of the table, nearly on top of the Timex. My point is, Invicta is a great value and should not be sneered at simply because of the price point. Rolex is a far beyond the point of diminishing returns. The quality of a Rolex can be achieved at around $1000. The reason to buy a Rolex is simply to flex your wealth. Another consideration, If you decide to sell your Invicta, you can probably sell it for 75% of its retail value.. reselling the Loreo, Starking, Pagani watches with nearly no brand recognition, consider yourself lucky if you can even find a buyer. If I was displaying those in a collection I would be embarrassed as they are Chinese company's. At least Invicta is a Swiss/American company.
I wasn't sure about the Invicta Pro Diver until it went on sale for $55. What people don't realize, that Seiko movement alone cost $50. This watch showed up and I was absolutely amazed by it for what I paid. I personally think its even worth the $85 thats asked for it, sometimes. I'd definitely wait for when it pops up for under $60 just because that happens a few times a year.
That was a balanced fair review of the Invicta Professional Diver. I might have picked one up years ago if I hadn’t read so many accounts of hands and crown falling off.
I wish Invicta still made with the Miyota movement as people seem to have much better results with them. I have one from 2018 using the Seiko NH35A and it's honestly only had issues with the movement. Crown won't always go to the first position, and it's slowly been getting worse timekeeping to the point where it is now 2 MINUTES a day slow. Otherwise everything else is really great for the money. I've been pleasantly surprised with the case, dial, applied markers, etc.
I had this watch and I loved it for a little beater watch. Picked it up on amazon prime day for $45. Just sold it on offer up for $35 after a year. Not too shabby.
As usual J, nice review. I really enjoy that you always make a real effort to remain objective and unbiased, regardless of the brand. You've done your job. In the end, it's it's up to the person putting up the $$ to determine what is right and good for them.
I got the pro diver for 50 usd and because of that I bought two more invictas the aviator for 50usd and I force. For 50 usd. I spent around 165 usd for 3 invictas feeling like a winer
I have a gold Rolex GMT Master I bought in Hong Kong in 1972 for $800. It was recently appraised at $70,000. It sits in a safe deposit box today. I don't dare wear it because I don't want to risk an armed robbery. I do wear a gold (plated) Invicta Pro Diver. Cost less than a hundred but looks like a million. The only things I don't like about it are the mineral crystal and the lousy loom. But I can live with that. It keeps good time.
I just ordered the purple face. Purple being my favorite color and by this video it looks great on the wrist. First watch of my collection and I can’t wait to start collecting. Thank you for this video
There are versions exacly like this with Swiss movements. Usually find them around $300 dollars but still a great value! Plus the Rotors and innard are much more decorated and beautiful.
I own 20 Invicta's some with many amazing movements. ETA's, ETA Val's, Silleta 200& 500, Rhonda and many more mechanicals. I love them all. I also own about 10 Aragon's also amazing. Great Video and Thanks for sharing. I do old two Rolex Old Man small watches mainly ss and 18k. Just not me way to small.
I own a few Invicta watches and I really like them all. Never had any issues with them either. I actually like the look and feel of the larger cases (47mm is my sweet spot), but can wholeheartedly agree that many of their executions are seriously over the top. For the money though, they are tough to beat in my opinion.
I have two pro divers and frankly...love them. I no longer spend up to a grand on any watch. The quality of watches now at up to $200 is to good to ignore. Love your reviews and ordered my first Loreo today.
I guess I'm old - I still remember ordering these things before ShopNBC off the young internet before the second hand came with the wings. They weren't great, but they were automatic and certainly more interesting than any similarly priced Fossil or Guess WaterPro of the day. Certainly, there are better options these days at the low end, but 20 years ago, the Invicta Pro Diver was paving the way for the microbrands we have today.
Hey guys you should all consider the Titanium version. It is a bit lighter and still all the great features of the steel watch. I never take it off and can see the time at 3 am when nature calls. They also have the Sea Base that is a 1000 meter watch...maybe that could make a good review.
I had this exact watch and for £60 it was great, i sold after a year when i became a bit of a snob. I then gave myself a good talking to and bought another one for my son for his first auto watch, the quality between the two was markedly different. My sons bezel action is horrible and the cyclops is a bit wonky too.
I’ve never owned an Invicta and I too hear all the trash talk. I’m at the point in my collection where I don’t need to ever own one so I’ll take your word for it whenever younger guys ask for an affordable watch 👍🏻
I have one that I'm going to transplant into my Alpinist to fix the problem with the 6r15. I can't wear it when it runs at plus 2 minutes per day and then minus 5. I am getting a black date wheel to put into it. An Alvicta or an Inpinist. No one will see the movement but it's cheaper than getting Seiko to service the 6r15.
After seeing the video I now I have the blue pro diver you previously reviewed, I absolutely love the Seiko movement. Thank you for sharing these bargain watches with us!

I won’t buy a watch without a Sapphire Crystal. It could be a perfect copy of a Rolex, it wouldn’t matter. It will be scratched up in a few months.
I have had mine for now almost two years, and it hasn’t missed a beat. I exercise and swim in it every day too. A couple of scratches on it now but still does the job.
.....I have several, the oldest bought in 2005, no problems with any of them.
Good on you mate! Wish I could have seen that 😂
he prolly wore a fake one lol
You will never be selling a ten grand stainless steel watch for 20k then 😜😈😈😂😂😂
Submariner guy sounds a knob though. I certainly would not have said that to you.
Yeah. I could see at Max paying 1k for a watch give or take a little. Even that is ridiculous. Doesn't even make me coffee in the morning. Doesn't start my car. It just tells me the time.
LOLOL priceless
Let's just admit it - Invicta is a guilty pleasure!
YES LOL 100%
I agree!
YO! BROUGHT ONE LAST WEEK 🤫
Totally agree with you. Five Invictas so far, and treasure every one of them.
I have three of them, one of then is a huge Swiss built watch with a nitrogen escape valve in the back.
This has quickly become my favorite UA-cam watch channel, and you're one of the most likeable, fair personalities on the site. Well done.
I have an older 8926OB with the Myota movement, I wore it every day for 10 years and that included work, the beach, the pool, working on the yard...etc. Never let me down and still keeps good time. Definitely worth the 80 bucks I paid for it.....
Price wise... My dad got me an 8926 with a Miota movement and it got me into collecting automatics. Still working after over 10 years.
Wow me too! When I was 16 my dad got me one and since then it has also got me into collecting watches! Your 10/10 guy
@DJ Ezasscul trust me just buy a Seiko 5 or lower end Seiko Prospex (Prospex line runs from $300-$6,000) for your next one. Would recommend the turtle, mini turtle, or dress-kx (srpe55)
Seiko movements are solid
It’s the huge gaudy looking crap that people laugh at from invicta , nothing wrong with these pro divers
Mark Bloom I like and own a grand diver and love it!
TBH, what bothers me the most is the INVICTA on the left side of the case. The other logos I could deal with.
I use mine to time my muff diving!
@@danjanyja lmao, they never specified if it was for muff or water diving so i bought one...
I got mine for $45 a couple years back on an Amazon sale as one of my first few automatics. It eventually turned into a modding project that has made it one of my favorites to wear. Highly recommend for anyone looking to dabble in modding on something cheap and easy to find dials, hands, etc. for.
Just getting into watches as a hobby and I have one of these lying around. Wanted to start modding, where did you get parts? Thanks
They are great for the money. Movement is very smooth and looks good. Keeps time very good
Please do more "trash or treasure" for other watch.. I really enjoy this kind of review...
+1 to this!
Love invicta pro. Had mine 4 years been all over the world with me.
Beaches seas.
Great watch..
I hit the bracelet with 1000, then 3000 grit for a perfect bushed look. My NH35 has run within 15 sec per month!
My gateway drug to this wonderful hobby of ours.
Pro Divers are awesome , I own 2 of them , one is 25 years old and it has never been serviced however it runs like a new watch , they deserve a better lume , same as Casios .
I'm blown away by mine, it's running around 2 to 3 seconds fast, per day now, fantastic piece of kit,, thanks for your review,,,
I've had one of these for a few years.
Gotto say, I wasn't into automatic watches till I bought one of these. Now I'm hooked. BEWARE!
Same here. I own a few really nice dress watches and my cheap Invicta gets more wrist time than any of them!
I owned this piece for about 6 months, but replaced it with an SKX013.
I can genuinely say I do miss the Invicta sometimes.
Invicta has its own history, definitely not a trash
The company was Top Shelf when it was owned by The Picard Family in Switzerland. Then the Invicta watch company was purchased in 1991 and you get the company that you see today?
@@davenolan5709 thing's changed) but history remains the same.

For your edification-- I've actually owned an Invicta pro-diver & I actually liked the watch. I did end up selling it, but for reasons unrelated to the watch's quality.
Fact is, though, because that company has chosen to do business the way they do, they have tarnished their rep within the watch community.
All you gotta to to understand that is watch a few videos on the subject...

I'm getting an invicta pro diver watch (in gold and blue) for my birthday this year because I've been into watches since earlier this year

@Zoran hope the movement made in Japan and assembled in PRC
@Zoran trust me, it has a seiko NH35 movement which is reliable, accurate n durable. Rest your decision.
@Zoran ha! no parts at all from China? better get out a few dozen $100 bills, and even then that's not likely. the first time you'll see a guarantee of no Chinese parts at all is haute horology
@@HH60gPaveHawk but there's an option in Seiko SKX made in Japan or only Japan movement and assembled in China. But there's no difference between them, only tiny words "made in Japan" other than just "7s26" and some numbers. Also a "Japan" word on the caseback.
Actually mine says Malaysia with Japanese movement
There is no question about the quality in my mind. It is great! Bought my 5th Invicta today.

I've had one for a few years ... still going ...looks pretty good ... I have no problem with them
I find it funny how many of us own the Pro Diver, at $69.49 which is what I paid last Christmas it’s a keeper.
How can you get it so cheap
I love my Invicta Pro Diver! Superb Watch!!! Gets lots of compliments!
Treasures!
I really wish they would do a proper seamaster homage, I think that it is a much more attractive design!

"Nice and Snickie..."
Brilliant. Love everything about the whole phrase.
If you ignore the brand reputation and the fact that it is a homage, I think it would be difficult to find a better value for money watch.
I think the paganis are better value, but lack the historical value, which is subjective
Like it... buy it... wear it.
Just received my first 8926OB. $58 from Amazon Prime Day. It looks a lot smaller in person.
My favorite Invicta, not a fan of their over-the-top models...

Wow!!! That's rad, Andrew!!
Crydus that’s what it’s all about! 😊

See the Invicta Signature 7042! Stunning, 200m WR, NH36A, sapphire coated, 40 mm case, 100 USD.
I had one of these Invicta's about a year ago. Swapped the rattly bracelet for a NATO and loved the watch. I somehow lost it in the house. You would not believe how many times I have torn the house upside down trying to find it. I recon a workman/cleaner knicked it!
Look for it on Amazon Prime day, I got mine for $44 usd. I've had it for a year now and no complaints for the price.
azmudrat exactly the same for me. Great value under $55 but now I’m thinking of getting an Orient. 🙁
Got mine for 54 with shipping included. Couldn't be happier!
What Seiko movement???? Not a Grand Seiko.
Hi, hope you have great memories with it.
Can you share which day / month you got that watch ?
I wish to buy for the same price.
@@kodoaok626 This was over 2 years ago. I stole the NH35 out of the watch to build another watch.
That was a balanced fair review of the Invicta Professional Diver. I might have picked one up years ago if I hadn’t read so many accounts of hands and crown falling off.
If Invicta watches were sent in hoards to watch channels for free, imagine what would happen...
I've had one of these for 3 years, nover had a problem works well, looks good, 😁👍
I wish Invicta still made with the Miyota movement as people seem to have much better results with them.
2 minutes is crazy. That seems more like 7 years after purchase not 2

As usual J, nice review. I really enjoy that you always make a real effort to remain objective and unbiased, regardless of the brand.

Invicta is gaudy but they own Glycine and Combat Sub is my favorite watch
I love the combat sub. I sold the invicta and bought the glycine because it’s thinner and has sapphire
Yes yes yes! Combat Sub is great....love mine!
Combat subs are amazing!
I just ordered the purple face. Purple being my favorite color and by this video it looks great on the wrist. First watch of my collection and I can’t wait to start collecting. Thank you for this video
Treasure, since it's not fast fashion and swiss made-ish.
Seiko movement!
There are versions exacly like this with Swiss movements. Usually find them around $300 dollars but still a great value! Plus the Rotors and innard are much more decorated and beautiful.
@@TheLastNeville At 300 you could get better
Bought myself an Invicta Pro Diver (blue) last summer as a birthday treat. Great watch, cannot fault it.
20atm and seiko movement cant go wrong!
I have two pro divers and frankly...love them. I no longer spend up to a grand on any watch. The quality of watches now at up to $200 is to good to ignore. Love your reviews and ordered my first Loreo today.
I'm definitely ordering this watch next.
Have one of these and the slightly larger 420 pro diver in titanium. Solid watches with a good movement.
Maybe your Alpinist is magnetized? They sell cheap demagnetizers you could try it maybe.
Demagnetize.
Thanks for a great review. I bought mine for $48 US on Amazon Prime Day. It gains approximately 15 seconds a day. I'm rather proud of myself.
This watch started production in the 90's so it makes sense it looks like an older Sub.
After seeing the video I now I have the blue pro diver you previously reviewed, I absolutely love the Seiko movement. Thank you for sharing these bargain watches with us!
