What I don't understand is why as a viewer I'm seeing more of you than the actual room. Could you consider letting the viewer actually get a good look at the decor as you speak in the background? I love everything about this room! Love those lamps, luv the rug, luv the touches of black, luv the sofa...everything! It's interesting that you said grey is going out and browns are coming back. I've seen grey a lot and the more I see it the more I like it. I have an ivory leather sofa with taupe and chocolate brown pillows and throws. I decided I wanted to lighten the look by replacing them with grey and black. Since black never goes out of fashion, I'm going to stick with that idea for spring and maybe switch back to the Browns for fall/ winter. I also have blush pink accents for both looks. I really like your design style, we have similar taste.😊

Enjoyed another great renovation. Sharing how reupholstering, repainting furniture and decorative items is a great environmentally friendly way to keep furniture out of landfills. I had a chesterfield sofa reupholstered before from leather to aubusson tapestry, loved, loved it. Do not know the color of the sofa table before, however the gold is perfect with the designing of the room. All the colors for the entire area is perfect. What gold from the choices you shared, did you use on the sofa table?

I would have place the two designer color Chairs across from the sofa. Placed the console table center the window. I don't like the off-centered look. Place the big round table center the picture on that wall and used one white chair on that side of the room. That extra chair may or may not fix in this room, if not put in the dinning room or a bedroom. Everything is So Beautiful.

The rug needs to be repositioned so the front legs of the sofa and chairs are on the rug. As is, the rug looks too small for the space. In such a large space, the furniture could have been pulled away from the walls.
