You're in business to give the customers what they want to buy. If punters are willing to fork over 20+ years of gains in the spot price in premiums so be it. Kudos to Michael for making them available. Sometimes it isn't just about the economics.

I needed a 2020, it was the only major world mint coin I couldn't get when collecting for my nephew who was born in 2020. I mean ebay, but they're closer to $100 inc post from ebay. Glad I got one.

Question - with the Libertad premiums so high, when does this get into the non-bullion investment territory (i.e. incurring GST)? My understanding is that when a coin deviates from spot too much, it is then not 'bullion' for GST purposes?
Probably the reason why they got held up in customs so long, customs would have been argueing this very point, trying to squeeze Micheal for gst and duty I’m guessing.
@@melbournestacker or it could just be beause of all the taxes (legal and not so legal) they probably go through to get out of Mexico in the first place.
